Digital Velcro started in 2008 as a one-take, lo-fi, DIY, abstract, and multi-genre project by guitarist, iPad music app enthusiast, and former jazz kazooist Rob Gilbert. You’ll hear influences of funk, trip-hop, jazz, psych rock, alt-country, electronic, and avant garde.

Producer and DJ, I use mostly my Korg Synth and Midi keyboard, APC 20, and Maschine primarily producing using Ableton Live 9, Maschine, Massive, Kontakt 5, Reaktor 5, Komplete 8 and Komplete 9 Production Suite, running OZONE 5 for most mastering, and I,ve been a self-taught musician since the age of 5 playing piano, around age 9 guitar, bass, and drums. I reside in Knoxville, TN currently, and I am at the time furthering my musical education studying Sound Design, Music Production, Sound Engineering, and some advanced DJ courses at the top rated Electronic Music Production Academy named DUBSPOT, with schools located in NY and LA! I am currently doing my classes online, as it is most convenient for me at the current time. I mainly produce Breaks, dnb, dubstep,trip-hop, trap, but all in all a little bit of everything.
