Founded in 2020 Future Avenue is an electronic music imprint which operates under the Sound Avenue umbrella. Sitting alongside fellow subdivisions 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds, Future Avenue looks to provide a home for new and rising talent. With an ethos centred around progressive music and its surrounding derivatives, the label is a platform which gives up and coming artists a chance to showcase their music alongside established veterans as they carve out their own musical identity.

London-based DJ and producer Anii is welcomed to the AEON fold with her mystical ​​Magic EP. She invites the indomitable forces of Man Power and Kiwi to each provide their own take on her original productions.
Speaking of the EP ​Anii ​​explains that she had ​“been working on it for the last couple of years. It’s a project I saved and changed so many times, that I even forgot to name it. In the end I thought the name can just be Magic!”.
Opening the EP, ​Magic is littered with glistening percussion, tribal drums and mysterious exotic undertones. It’s an immersive track and one that begs you to get lost in it its rhythm. Me Me Me label boss Man Power adds a harder edge to his extended version that veers off midway with a huge, pounding bass and a furious flurry of synths. Trojan Horse ​is a dark and hypnotic affair with middle-eastern influences and industrial percussion. Kiwi puts his own stamp on the closing track adding a low, growling bass and subtle distortions.
Anii is living proof that hard work pays off. Since arriving in London from her native Poland, she’s earned a solid reputation for playing high quality melodic techno and has appeared on line ups alongside Kolsch, KiNK and Michael Mayer. She’s had releases on revered imprints including Kompakt and Polymath, and this latest EP on Alex Niggemann’s esteemed label marks the beginning of a fruitful relationship.

Watergate’s new resident and agency signing Braunbeck steps up for his label debut.

Braunbeck’s punchy grooves and tender melodies have been sound-tracking Watergate since 2017 when the Stuttgart native made an unassuming Wednesday night debut at the O*RS label event in  March that year. Since then, the artist has built fans and cred in equal measures, playing regularly for WG, playing Circoloco in Ibiza and launching the fledgling Sol Eterno imprint. 

His maiden outing for Watergate’s home label epitomises his natural talent. ‘Samsa’ pairs him with Berlin-based, Australian DJ and producer Eluize, who supplies a searching vox over twirling layers of melody and sparse percussion. Jonathan Kaspar follows with a stunning adaption of ‘Samsa’ made for misty-eyed rave mornings. ‘De Trum’ is an effective dancefloor tool, built around a metallic drum-line. The EP rounds out with ‘Blocklife’, which distills all of Braunbeck’s sonic building blocks into one stirring finale.

Berlin’s Sol Eterno has lended some fierce dancefloor igniters since its inception, in 2017 and by now has established a level of complexity, depth and balance within its own style. 

Eterno X marks the tenth release for Sol Eterno and forms this first various artist release.  A careful  curated first compilation, empowered by ten exclusive titles, from artists that shaped the sound of Sol Eterno in the past two years. The young label led by Braunbeck and Hazel, has brought a handful of new talented acts into the light and keeps on doing that. Some familiar faces like Daniel Bortz, Philipp Harms or Braunbeck himself, who joined the party with exclusive originals, acompanied by acts such as Hazel, Naeiiv, Ccismō and many more.
