MoDem Festival‬ in Croatia is widely considered one of the best, and most important, festivals on the psytrance calendar. It’s influence on the festival scene cannot be understated. When I started making this music, I promised myself that, before I was 30, I wanted to play on the Hive stage. Well, 5 days before my 30th birthday, I had the honour of doing just that. It did not disappoint, and it was the best dancefloor I have ever had the privilege of experiencing.

I decided early on that this was where I was going to debut my new album (forthcoming soon on Bom Shanka Music) and record the entire set. So, here it is – the full video of my set on Thursday 8th August 13:30-15:00 on the Hive.

Thank you to everyone that danced, everyone that filmed and everyone that gave me emotional support in the stress of finishing the tracks before the gig! A resolute 150 BPM cadence propels the momentum, while subterranean oscillations, ethereal harmonics, and ephemeral mechanical interjections sculpt a soundscape both enigmatic and vividly idiosyncratic. Suspended between the surreal and the cinematic, it orchestrates a traversal through temporal ambiguity, shifting tonality, and spatial fluidity at times whimsical, at others veiled in intrigue, yet perpetually evolving.
