“I wanted to put together a mix that was focused on sounds, the things I hear on records that I aspire to when I’m working on my own recordings. Whether it be a raw nasty guitar, a heavy drum break, a beautiful melody or some kind of backwards tape wizardry, I like getting lost in the layers of a record and revelling in the emotional connection I get from the production and sonics of something. It’s not meant to be some super cool list of obscurities, rather just tracks (and artists) I love that I can get lost in and that make me want to plug in and play. As a thanks to everyone for their support for The Children Of Scorpio album I also thought it would be fun to throw in a couple of exclusive edits/reworkings of tracks from the album that I hope you’ll dig.
