Berlin-based DJ D.Sociation unleashes a dark and gritty percussive set for this edition of our 6AM guest mix. Flexing the trampling 909 moves, bleepy tech salvos and acid-infused circuitry, in-your-face techno whizz and founder of Instagram's beloved artists.of.techno community D.Sociation pulls out a nasty 1-hour workout of a 4-deck mix for us.

Inspired by K. Saunderson, J. Mills, and R. Hawtin's approach to the decks, effects, drum machines, and synths, he likes to modulate the records he is playing. He creates a unique sonic experience in this set by seeking the goldilocks zone between raw techno, twilight psychedelia, and machine paranoia.

About Terraza:
A decade of much history. 10 years ago, the Terraza embryo had been planted. It appeared timidly in 2012 as an after-hours show at the extinct Pacha Floripa, then part of the Music Park complex, as a reflection of a growing demand for electronic music lovers on the island of Santa Catarina.

The musical proposal attracted the public in such a way that Terraza became independent and gained an exclusive identity and its own space within the complex, becoming a club and reaching higher and higher flights. Since then, the track has been honing its identity year after year, with the essence “Without a label. No ostentation. Music is everything!”, promoting a democratic and welcoming environment for the public.

Throughout its life, Terraza made history with so many memorable nights with established artists and big bets that would become references in the scene. To celebrate our tenth anniversary, we prepared a lineup full of artists who were part of our chronology:

Chaz creates evocative techno sounds thumbing with a rebellious drive. Hypnotic
repetitions are essential substances for his production as well as performance. He
combines the spirit of the genre with enigmatic production techniques.
His music sits comfortably at the crossroads where galvanised textures collide with
undulating rhythms, as a tribute to his strongest inspiration coming from techno artists
and labels of the nordic world. Chaz is defying convention and forging his own path
through the revered underground current. Approaching his soundscapes with the care
of a scrupulous artisan, adding pensive electricity through interesting details — a
methodology that has accrued him constant praise from distinguished artistic figures.
The man behind the project, Akshay shares his time between being a music
programmer, booker, and an artist. He represents a new generation of artists who not
only avoid over-elaboration and unnecessary attachments, but also live on an energetic
aura that knows about the past while spreading its tentacles in the present.
