V's Theme

I thought I’d try creating an English Cover of the V route ending song, ‘The Compass’ based off the lyrics I personally rearranged to fit in the overall meaning of the song. ^^

I don't own the instrumental or the picture in the video, both items belong to Cheritz.

I waded through the brilliant morning light
I glided over the shimmering starlight
I stumble upon some unfamiliar clouds
and suddenly, I feel lost

I made loneliness my makeshift friend

 your first love painfully floated astray

Then I stop right there in my tracks

Your messages woke up the morning

nothing but an unreachable mirage.

Agony was my ephemeral friend
and I rewound back to my past
Round and round the compass spun and it whispered to me:

I scrambled on and on racing down endlessly south
To experience the pain,  but then wait something just clicked.
The bright sun's not just an old empty globe
And this compass was within me all along..... Woah~~

your past love was all just a craze
You go west then
I see you're still waiting for me
Then I stop, right there in my tracks
and come running straight to you!
