Born in Paris, France to Colombian and Italian parents, Ella relocated independently to New York City at the age of 17 to pursue her dreams of becoming a performing and visual artist.
     
She found the best way to showcase her deepest emotions and life experiences were through poetry, dance and acting.

Her strongest influences come from her Afro-Latin American roots, European theater and American R&B.
 
Her poetry revolves around love and sensual exploration , spirituality, mental and physical health , as well as social justice and culture.
