Performer Gilad Paz’s voice has been described as a “silken, powerful” (Tampa Bay Times) and “divine tenor” (Broadway World), which is used “very stylishly and with great feeling whether he is being imperious or amorous” (Musical Criticisms). 

Gilad commands the stage and brings “a kaleidoscope of feelings and character quirks throughout each tableau” (Briggler in Tune) to every role with his energetic and nuanced performances. From Baroque to contemporary, oratorio to opera, he engages audience members and truly brings them into the piece.

An accomplished interpreter of 20th and 21st century vocal music, his highlights in the 2017-18 season include performances in the leading role of Rabbi Azrael in Joel Mandelbaum’s 1972 opera The Dybbuk, as well as Antonio Salazar in Neely Bruce’s contemporary oratorio Circular 14: The Apotheosis of Aristides. Gilad also performs his debut as tenor soloist in Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem with the Queens Choral Society.

Highlights from recent seasons include Mr. Paz’s Alaska debut, reprising the role of Tony in West Side Story with the Orpheus Project in Juneau; his role debut as Tom Rakewell in Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress under the baton of Maestro Tito Muñoz; a return to the St. Petersburg Opera in Florida as Spalanzani and Nathanael in Les contes d’Hoffmann; Mayor Upfold in Britten’s Albert Herring; Azaël in Debussy’s L’enfant prodigue; and concert performances as tenor soloist in Carmina Burana, Bach’s Magnificat, Evangelist in Bach’s St. John Passion, and Handel’s Messiah.

Mr. Paz’s other opera credits include the roles of Tonio in La ﬁlle du régiment, Tamino in Die Zauberﬂöte, Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto, Scaramuccio, the Tanzmeister, and Brighella in three different productions of Ariadne auf Naxos, Tybalt in Roméo et Juliette, Princ in Dvořak’s Rusalka, Orfeo in Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo, and the Witch in Hänsel & Gretel.

Giladʼs concert highlights also include Judas Maccabaeus, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and Missa Solemnis, Mozart’s Coronation Mass K.317, and Bernstein’s Songfest. He also appeared as soloist in both St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall and has premiered works by composers Joseph Prestamo, Joel Mandelbaum, and Matt Frey.

2005 marked Gilad's return to NYC from his native Israel, where he performed on some of the country's biggest stages, to pursue his singing career. He is also the recipient of multiple scholarships from the Ronen Foundation of America.

In 2016 Mr. Paz debuted OPROCK™, a unique pops concert that combines the greatest hits of opera with the greatest hits of classic rock. He is the creator and lead performer of this show, which is currently being booked with orchestras throughout the U.S. and can be seen at oprockmusic.com

Celina "Skitz" Ambert, a hip hop artist from Jersey City, NJ, was born on January 24th, 1988. Celina was raised by a DJ and a singer until they retired their music dreams. As a kid, she grew up listening to all different styles of music, from hip hop to rock. She started by writing lyrics and free styling with friends. Celina started to learn how to play the guitar; trying to see where she fit in, in the world. She realized later on, in life, fitting in wasn't for her and standing out was her calling. Celina started MC’ing at the age of 14. Regardless of what family or friends said, she started working on her mixtape. Celina writes music about her life and how she sees the world around her. She writes songs about heartbreak, triumphs, downfalls, and so much more. She told herself, if she was going to be an MC she was going to make sure she educated her listeners one song at a time. Celina never thought she would be where she is today, but she is definitely enjoying the ride, as it comes. Celina “Skitz” Ambert is taking her skills to a whole new level!
