Yellow (Cover) - Studio Version

This is probably the most difficult song I have worked with to date but I am so glad I have a chance to share it now. The weirdness of days finds its solace in this. 

For me, there are 2 ways to think about the meaning of this song, 

1. A conversation with your own self where you are just about to give up but that voice just comes back that wants you to go on just one more time. Its a powerful feeling to finally take your future in your hands. 

2. The bigger picture - taking the collective responsibility for a future we all share. We can easily undermine an individual or reduce their value but it takes character to walk through a difficult situation.

Al Pacino's speech in Scent of a Woman remains a personal favorite and I just wanted to pay tribute to the great actor and this wonderful speech. 

A special thanks to Muneeb Ejaz for helping me create this drum track (this remains my weakest area and I am glad I was able to get good help on this)

You Hold This Future In Your Hands

This song just celebrates life as it is. For me, it remains a reminder that there is hope in midst of the darkness. 

At the end, I included a small tribute to Jim Carrey whose work remains cherished and forever loved.
