The richly talented duo Mathame featured on the second Realm Of Consciousness compilation and have since been regulars in the sets of Tale Of Us with some sought-after, unreleased tracks. Their distinctive treatment of vocals marks their tracks out instantly, nowhere more so than on ‘Nothing Around Us’, with the cyber voice of the young Italian artist Lyke. The top quality production and original sound continue with the more understated ‘22’ and end with another prime example of Mathame’s vocal work, ‘Fade Into You’. This EP is a bold statement that crystallises the well-deserved excitement around Mathame.

The first notes of “Feys”, R.EK’s latest work and first single release in 2020, leave a volatile impression. The sound’s grace evokes the moment when you see a stranger’s face for the first time, when you inspect its details; cheek dimples, wrinkles on the forehead, a mysterious shade around the eyes.
With every passing second one discovers new details, striking passages taking turns with vulnerable sounds, and with every additional piece of the puzzle you’ll get closer to the core of this work. “Feys” heralds a new era for R.EK and introduces a new chapter for his label KnotenMusic—by uniting melodic techno with cinematic dramatics. In collaboration with Hannes Bieger, whose mixing adds a warm touch to the sound, R.EK is again pushing boundaries, and explores new grounds, where subtle, harmonious synthies and an enormous love for detail are paired to enable a new, distinct sound.

About KNOTEN
Under the umbrella of KNOTEN, R.EK is currently developing a new live performance concept that attempts to reinvent the communication between the artist and the audience by adding innovative visuals to the show. The new track will be released under KnotenMusic, which was launched as part of the KNOTEN project.

No, but seriously: Whatever you might think, for me this is part of my life condensed in music and since it's almost impossible to find singers who want to work on their vocals more than 2 takes it was a practical choice to use my own voice.

mungor a.k.a grauntorgum, listening underground techno and house music like since 2009, but somepoint, he want to do something more, only listening music is not enough for him. he have to create own sets, own compostions. so this how he started his music career in 2013, when he began the university. since that time, he is always making lot of practices, and researchs. he generally plays genres of techno "ethereal, berlin, progressive, dub" and house music. he thinks music is a story, and live performances/podcasts are storyteller. meanwhile, his experiences are lot of private partys and some local events. but he have a great mixing technique and a good taste of music. he's not only playing music, he is composing at the same time.
