Mycelium is the first track from ZeRu, a collaborative project between @nakedwookie & @z_james. It's a mind-bending journey - mixing electro, breakbeat & jungle influences with jazzy harmony & far-out synth design. The result is a suitably tripped out track, with sounds reminiscent of 90s video game soundtracks.

Definitely one of our most off-kilter & experimental releases on the label so far, but still designed to do the job at a rave!

"2018 marks the 10th year of RKS and of Roska's monutmental career to date. Teaming up with some friends to bring a remastered version of Feeline plus remixes from T & Bash who have been smashing it with their new label Conch Records. The legendary Mark Force who has caused some much waves and influence for Roska and the UK Funky scene early on with Bugz in the Attic. Scuba brings his Spectr release to life one more time, the last outing as Spectr. was with RKS back in 2011 with two tracks that featured on Roska's 2010 Essential Mix. After having a solid 2015 and 2016 Murder He Wrote comes with a solid and even darker interpretation of Feeline. Roska and the rest of the RKS team will be celebrating 10 years of the label throughout the year kicking off in The Queen Of Hoxton 31st March."

Newcomers Bakey and Javen present the latest in a string of high energy grime / club hybrid tracks. Bakey's crisp production going hand in hand with the cold lyrics brought by Javen.

A long-time kindred spirit of Defrostatica - Sun People is the alter ego of Austrian artist Simon/Off, a man renown for his footwork-inspired beat craft and ability to weave his music influences into his unique sound, landing on labels such as RUA Sound, Modern Ruin, Juke Bouncce Werk,and Alphacut. Last spotted remixing Champion Sound on Defrostatica, this EP was only a matter of time. 

‘The Walls’ is the blueprint. Tension is set by the relentless beats while release is felt in the breezy Detroitian chords midway. Inspired as much by early Chicago house music as it is 80s European proto hardcore and the current turbo sound championed by the likes of Fracture, Itoa and BSN Posse, it’s fully backed by a killer remix from Anna Morgan. Another kindred soul to Defrostatica, the Worst Behavior boss tunes into our frequency with a bouncing high-NRG remix. Out Every where Dec 18th.
