Tough drums and raw basslines are the wire frames around which spectral vocals and percussive quirks breathe and coil. Bridging the gap between Dutch electro heritage and horror-movie soundtracks without sacrificing dancefloor functionality, Electric Vampire presents a synthetic super-highway in which the only thing more pervasive than the bright lights is the solid concrete underfoot. This is something that was made around 2014/2015.  I don't have the project, so I couldn't mix it down.  They're the same tune, but one has a kick.

samvariation - Kicked Back

There's a good bunch of intense, dark and extreme, grinding electro-techno gems on the "Raval Rave Breakers" first compilation. While Boris Divider's 'Collapsed Cluster' recalls of the more clinical approach of labels like Raster-Noton, Eel manages to deliver a fresh mix of styles on 'Sraight Edge', where Old Skool Breakbeat and EBM draw an unforgettable match made in heaven. Last track on the A side comes from Classicworks boss Neuhen, but is Patricia (Opal Tapes, Spectral Sound) who remixes it: in "Supress" we can find all the magic tricks of the NYC based producer: eery atmospheres, gently distorted drums and a warm feeling of cozyness. On the flip, RNXRX delivers "Aktion Intertia", one of the most psychedelic jams he's ever did: an industrial acid track as catchy as it can be. Oakland's "Heroine From The North" sounds a bit like when New Beat became faster and more agressive, being mixed with styles like EBM and trance.

@Krisbaha returns to his imprint since ‘Mind Your Head’ in 2016 with 4 mutant industrial cuts ready for a dance floor of 1. 
‘Behave’ begins with a hypnotic sequence guiding the listener through the piece as sonic sirens screech from the cavernous dystopian wastelands of 2020.  

‘Starts to Fall’, which was finished in January before the epidemic, is a soundtrack of what was to come. A could be dance floor anthem now lost to the ‘could of been’s’ of time. Baha’s signature mechanical grooves start the track off with KB’s androgynous autotune vocal singing ‘Starts To Fall’, punching into a metallic punk wave inspired bassline setting the tone before submerging into the anthemic leads, a call to a brighter future. 

On the B side, ‘Struck’ is the brighter track of the release. High pitched melodic stabs shimmer above the corroded lowlands as 90’s industrial inspired drum grooves inject themselves into the already mutating bass line. Lastly, ‘Isolation’ is a slower BPM EBM cut evidently bleak and cold as forced Isolation and its negative side effects take their toll. The future is...
