Verse 1: We don’t go looking, don’t where we bury it all.
Encroaches in from the peripheral from out of our wherewithal.
It’s often as many times we come to rise as the times when we tend to fall,
but be that as it may, sometimes we find ourselves back there after all.

Verse 2: Reflections in the surface of an abyss that stares right back into our awe.
Furious curiosity, tenacious animosity.
To draw us inexorably, down into its stygian maw,
makes us all the more nervous at the best of times, it’s but a symptom of our broken minds.
