I've been reading (and watching) a fair bit of Sci-Fi recently - I'm half way through "Inverted World" by Christopher Priest and I've (re)watched "The Man Who Fell to Earth" and the remake of "Solaris" over the last few days. This has seemed to have influenced my music into melancholic soundscape areas (with added religious overtones and a touch of Pink Floyd thrown in)
