For its 25th release, Konstrukt brings us something special: a collaboration between Michal Wołski and Amandra that feels more like a late-night conversation between old friends than just another EP. This isn’t just about music but the moments behind it. Think cups of tea, gear scattered around a room, long chats that meander from the mundane to the profound, and the creative flow that only comes when you’re genuinely vibing with someone.

Today’s premiere is the A-side, “First Tea.” It starts with a gritty groove anchored by a high-pitched sequence that flits around like fireflies in the dark. There’s this dripping sound that sneaks in—unexpected, but somehow it just fits, giving the beat a playful twist. And then those pads roll in, lush and expansive, lifting the track into this heady, feel-good space. It’s the kind of tune that takes its time, letting every layer breathe, building up to a peak that feels almost triumphant. “First Tea” is the track you want when the night’s winding down, but no one’s ready to go home yet.

Inspired by soundsystem culture, Notfitted creates selections where immersive pads, percussive rhythms and low frequencies intertwine. As a member of the collectives Féminin Heure de Pointe (@hdpcollectif) and Soulfull Soro (@soulfull_soro), she joins forces with her partners in grime to support an inclusive and exploratory emerging scene. For this IUFO podcast, she steps away from her usual bass-driven sets to explore a deeper strain of experimental deep and minimal sounds - slow-burning, spatial and tuned for subtle altered states.

Written between 2020 and 2024 in a place close to nature, both the conceptual approach and the sound design draw inspiration from the surrounding environment, reflecting on transformation and interplay of the elements.
