And today is a new start

This is a song from my first album, Fancy Free.  I composed this song back in California, as my sweet cherubim were taking a nap and I leaned against an old oak tree in meditation. I was beckoned from my meditation to press record on my phone...and this flew through.  It was inspired by my near death experience and visit to the Celestial realm, where I was surrounded by multitudes of Light beings and filled with more LIGHT and LOVE than I ever had imagined possible.  We're never alone.  I've got faith!

I wish there was a way to tell the story of this song's creation without losing myself.  I just love the world it is and don't really have anything to say... yet.  I look forward to sharing its story someday.  Thanks to everyone who has made this song such a thematic statement. Hey Ya Hey Ya Ho ~ Call & Response

This is the first song that "Came Through" on the Dulcimer... I was in Tarapoto, Peru, where I was co-facilitating a "Dieta" (Sama) retreat of around 20 people.. It was a deep and healing experience for me personally and I was also moved to tears by the transformations of the individuals around me.. Towards the end of the retreat the song just emerged, and on the last day was shared for all. 

Blessed to have had Rachel Golub (aka Go-Ray!) play her violas and Violins on this recording and Emily Clibourn to sing backgrounds. Thank you!

 I was inspired to ask my friend, Rosa, to translate these lyrics into Spanish, so I could share with the Maestros and Meastres. That is "El Canto Sin Finale" and the 5th song of this EP.
