He lists among his influences Mike Scott, THe 4 of Us, Eddie Vedder, The Hot House Flowers and Bill Mallonee and the Vigilantees of Love.  Al performs solo acoustic and also with a number of other musicians.  He believes a good song should be able to be stripped back to a heartfelt acoustic performance.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to check out my profile and listen to some of my tunes. Music and guitar has been an integral part of my life for over 30 years now (wow, how time flies!). In that time I have made some records way back in the days of vinyl on some iconic American indi labels, was a part of the Los Angeles underground music scene of the early 80's and toured extensively all over the country a few times. I have played everything from punk, rock, to classical and praise and bluegrass. I think its amazing how interests and influences evolve over time. I've been playing bluegrass and folk for around two years now and really enjoy the challenge and musical rewards that it provides. I also just recently started playing the mandolin and am excited about a new dimension to my music and songwriting. Music is a part of me and I couldn't imagine a day going by without it. I am a self employed hairdresser with a passion for music. Daylight Fades is a music project I founded around 2008/2009 with a friend of mine. We co-wrote several instrumentals. I also composed several of the tracks alone when the project was fading out... Years later time to revisit this project and get some of the tracks out there.
