Norwich-based artist BufoBufo is in charge of February's edition of The MUSAR Show, delivering a 60-minute adventure through the sounds of electro, from emotive melodies and lush acid chords through addictive hard-hitting basslines and dark interludes. it's all in, Dive in!

Making waves since 2017 with a run of releases on Cabaret, Klasse Wrecks, Dream Ticket, Furthur Electronix and Altered Sense, Ben Murphy aka BufoBufo merges acid, electro, breakbeats and emotive melodies, which draw their energy from the UK raves of the '90s and have become a signature of his music to found the appreciative ears of many and reinvents retro-modern dance music.

Longhaul 031 - London Modular Alliance

Waz-u is an artist from London whose sound draws influence from early dub techno records from the 90s as well as classical music. This musical duality mirrors his mixed afro-caribbean and british heritage. He started producing electronic music in his late teens, initially creating electronica and later techno. His last two releases have been as a drummer with Monzanto Sound on None More Records, a live alternative soul project. He now works from Biodiversity Studio in south London, which is esteemed for its analog hardware setup and most of his tracks are written and mixed with minimal or no use of computers. 

Waz-u describes his mix as ’Ambient bangers, techno mind melters, all hypnotic!’

"narek simonian is a box-to-box midfielder with football and music flowing through his life since childhood. He can be best described as a digger of music treasures and a team player.

His journey in the electronic music scene began in 2011, and over the years, he has developed an eclectic approach to combining sets, making him a versatile and multigenre DJ.

Throughout his path, Narek has found himself associated with the music cartel lézvání, a Yerevan-based record label, where he took on a new role as an A&R manager.

In addition to his music endeavors, he is involved in the Side Effects project, curating art events, and collecting talks/podcasts from local artists."

London via Devon producer Sangre Voss doesn't play by the rules. Over the years he has released music which challenges and tests the most ardent of experimental DJ's with playful percussion, off piste tempos and weird, wonderful sounds which sounds as bonkers as they do beautiful. Releases and features on the likes of Rhythm Section, Fabric Records and Third Place have demonstrated a progression in sound yet emphasise the importance of staying true to the essence of fun.

His latest record was released on the 1st of March via Will Hofbauer's Third Place label and emphasises the versatility of a producer hard to pigeonhole.

With that in mind we had no idea what to necessarily expect from this mix, it could be anything to anyone or anywhere depending on the given mood of Sangre Voss.

Last Saturday, London-based techno producer @dying_in_beauty performed an all vinyl DJ set at Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham to mark the release of ‘In Praise In Shadows’ EP issued through his own Rhythm Without Reason imprint.

A very big thank you to everyone that made it down to the store, the main man played a slamming techno set and his EP is now sold out!
