MB Elektronics is back with an illustrious collection of remixes of Marco Bailey's "High Volume". Our remixers need no introduction, they are all key players of the techno scene and manage to cover an array of styles effortlessly, from pumped up techno to experimental down tempo electronica. 

Uto Karem whips down Marco's "Cash" takes a ride to deeper techno rhythms yet no less potent, leaving the groovy affair to cleverly punctuated percussions and beautiful smooth synth chord lightening the mood.

British DJ duo, Dense & Pika consisting of Alex Jones and Chris Spero have been making music together since 2011 and have released over 40 tracks and nearly as many remixes. They are known for their dark, mysterious house and roaring, brawny techno music that talks to people. They have been associated with some of the biggest labels in dance music like Hotflush, Drumcode and Hypercolour. They still travel the world together, DJing at the world’s best clubs and biggest festivals. They have never released an album until now. With guest appearances from Matthew Dear, Leftfield and Igor Cavalera, drummer with Brazilian metal deities, Sepultura, ‘Colour Burn’ was devised with Dense & Pika’s live show in mind.

The first track, “Murder Tune”, is aptly named. Tribal drums flow through the track filling listeners with the distinct and unsettling feeling that they are not only lost in a Forest, but have suddenly gone from hunter to hunted. Heavy doses of deep synth stylings penetrate the track, and unique twists on classic Dub vocal samplings fill the empty spaces, which adds to its status as a true head-banger. The track seems to move in stages, bringing the listener into and out of a haunting kind of euphoria before dropping us into a melee of buzz-saw synths.

The title track “Snake” brings us face-to-face with the realization that what hunts us is what we fear the most. Beginning with a sinister vocal narrative of the “Snake”, it slowly builds to a climax until the beat hits like a direct strike. The toxic bass of “Snake” rips through the skull and races through the body. Intermittent Hardstyle sections increase the complexity by breaking up the Dubstep beat structure and then moving us into the next phase of the track. The result is a frenetic state of bass driven insanity.
