The Mechanical Man is the moniker, behind it there is Nicola Altieri, he is the dj and neapolitan producer, grade 82.
The Mechanical  Man plays with a tamped sound like forced in a room.
he playsold tapes, dirty hot, slow but dense.
He puts the roots in Detroit, Chicago and Philadelphia, enriching his knowledge of all these places: the groove.
Unknowingly his live recall the stifling African warmth where the groove was born, the unmistakable smell of Harlem, the excitement of those sites of Broadway where it all started, the pressure of the first ballrooms in which everything was possible and everything in flux.
The Mechanical Man sound leave you dazed and confused,as if you were coming out of a super speed from the title:

ALWAYS on the look out for the new and interesting...whilst never forgetting the past!  My choices are Based on Merit Never on fashion!! CAN NOT go a day with out my music fix!!! I Try not to prejudge...music never seizes to amaze me..








Hey Music Lovers! Headstash Music is curated by a fiendish music researcher and obsessed archivist, with a strong bias towards new forms of music, hybrid sounds and obscure rarities. I estimate I've categorized close to 20,000 tracks so far, spread over a couple dozen playlists. Unless you listen to a lot of modern music, some of the more traditional sounding playlists like Jazz, Latin, Middle Eastern and Classical might not be what you expect. The main elements that set it apart would be the emergence of electronica, and the fearless cross-pollination of genres that todays artists are breaking ground with.
