The "MEDUSA Ep" was released by Rodion on Roccodisco and contains two unique gems: "MEDUSA" and "SOLENOID". 
The tracks have now been reworked and dubbed by Alien Alien (the combo of Rodion himself and the DJ Hugosan). The relationship between Rodion and Alien Alien has been indefinable, ever since their "SAMBACA" anthem: osmosis, inspiration, metamorphosis. 
Here Alien Alien take Rodion's electronic glamour vision to a whole different level: slower, dirtier and even druggier. BPMs at around 100... 


MEDUSA - Caribbean Alien Alien dub 
With hypnotic vocals from DJs Pareja (Comeme/Turbo), the original anthem Medusa is fed to the darkest of Caribbean nights, where primitive cumbia, scary voodoo and tribal magic melt into one in a freaky dance ritual.

SOLENOID - Pluviale Alien Alien dub
The pluviale dub of Solenoid carries you into a wet and slow trip: a psychedelic moombaton piece originating from a forgotten sound system somewhere along the Amazon river . 

SOLENOID - Interstellar Alien Alien dub 
The interstellar dub of Solenoid lifts us up through obscure planets and nebulas: hypnotic cosmic dust waves, which ride the tightest of Alien grooves. 

This music is the sound of the mystic on the dance floor, where body and groove become one.

Gregorythme strikes back on Raoul Records bringing the MultiCulti crew aka Dreems and Von Party as remixers along, a perfect package for the first open air parties this year.
The original mix is refreshing and quite euphoric. A very spontaneous and joyful track like a ray of light opening after a long winter.  
The MultiCulti remix takes the whole into the wild jungle with a twisted groove, additional percussions and organic modulations. 
OUI OUI is a positive name for a positive EP... with a hint of irony.

Joe Morris, Nick Smith and Iain Mac are Clandestino, a successful trio of party throwers based out of Leeds. They've been around the block a few times and have been involved in their local underground scene for almost two decades. This longstanding venture has garnered them some international attention and even resulted in quite a few international gigs as Clandestino. Their tastes are an amalgam of exotically influenced sounds from around the globe, easily heard on their extremely popular monthly show on KMAH Radio. As is often the case, they've also naturally developed into a record label, curating their own brand of idiosyncratic dance music.

Clandestino's fifth release comes from José Manuel, the Berlin-based Italian known for his percussion-heavy sound and tribal leanings. The "Human Behaviour" EP comes with two originals and two remixes, as well as a digital-only bonus track. The title track is a 9 minute journey that's slower in tempo with atmospheric keys and flutes playing over top of a jagged bassline. Clandestino remix Human Behaviour to turn it into a more uptempo, afro-leaning cut, injecting it with some tropical keys and a bit of an acid-y 303 bass.

Our premiere today is entitled Bangalore. Starting off with an immediate ear-catching, eastern guitar and bass combo, we know we're in for a ride. Trippy vocal chants come in as the drums and afro-latin percussion continue to work up to a full fledged groove. This percussive tune never loses its direction as different elements are introduced and taken out in the arrangement but the combination between the percussion, guitar and especially the quirky vocals turn it into a late night jam.

The final tracks on the EP are the Mushrooms Project remix of Bangalore, which turns it into more of a deep sundown, seaside extravaganza, and the digital bonus, Aisha, a tripped out cut full of djembes, Middle-Eastern and Indian instrumentation. Sun Shy Boy is a producer, multi-instrumentalist, choreographer and sound-artist who has formally studied music production and composition at the School of Arts in Utrecht. After finishing the SNDO Bachelor of Choreography in Amsterdam he has gone on to become known for his inventive, indie-leaning, trip-hop tinged electronic sounds with help from and collaborations with Ivo Dimchev, Rodrigo Sobarzo and BEA1991.
