Just over a year since its launch, Guy Gerber's RUMORS imprint continues to blend the world of music and art with a series of highly sought after releases and events. Following on from Guy & Puff Daddy’s remix EP of their stand out album track; ’Tourist Trap’, RUMORS welcomes Seth Troxler to the label with his debut, 'Evangelion'.

Scheduled for release on March 30th, 'Evangelion' follows Troxler's recent collaboration with Phil Moffa for their 'Rogue Music' EP, and also features a remix from Matt Jonson & Jesse Heartthrob - marking the label's sixth offering.

Delivering Seth's inimitable blueprint of boundary pushing techno, ‘Evangelion' leads with a hypnotic bassline that's topped with eerie bouts of spoken word and haunting piano keys - whilst Jonson & Siminski's remix softens the warped construction to provide a welcome dose of funk-induced techno.

With a shared passion for promoting authentic dance music - Seth and Guy have always been solid ambassadors for underground sounds that consistently change the musical landscape. 'Evangelion' finds a natural home in RUMORS and paves the way for another hugely successful year for the two innovators.

First remix release on the new Music.Art.Ppl label. It's a remix of R&B artist JSP's debut single “Don’t Worry”. The MAP collective fell in love with the track as it has a strong mental health message behind it which resonated with the crew in a big way.
This remix took an already great R&B track and gave it a groovy house bounce. Lyrically there is a strong focus on empowering one’s self with community and letting go of the superficial. Sonically, Tmorr, JFUN & Pithra spice it up with some Deep Bass, Rolling Drums and Synth chops which channel artists such as POMO and Kaytranada. The track is also a debut for the label Music.Art.Ppl which has folks excited locally and internationally.

When Catz 'n Dogz established their own label in 2010 their sole mission was to ensure it never became 'just another dance label'. A decade deep, their mission has been accomplished so far. With the label's remit as broad and innovative as the duo's productions and DJ sets, the focus has always been on soul, realness and human connections. From Eats Everything's debut single 'Entrance Song' to Rachel Row and husband KiNK's first single together 'Follow The Step' to the numerous 'Friends Will Carry You Home' collections, Pets has never lost sight of its purpose or raison d'etre. They've been as faithful as the family hound, as cool as the family cat and as curious as the family crocodile in their output, energy and creativity since day one.

To celebrate, the label has curated this exceptional 12-track collection of exclusives from their nearest and dearest. One fat album delivered over two massive EPs, '10 Years Of Pets' captures the full rave rainbow of the label and its many friends and facets; the raging bull acid slapper 'BADACID' from Eats Everything, the fully-juiced disco dynamite of Monki's 'The Shed', the dubby hip-slinking finesse of Joyce Muniz's 'Eastbound', the soft-focus uplift and daydream delight of Jeigo's 'Tell Me How It Feels', the jazzy electro wriggles and squiggles of Black Loops' 'Velvet', the list goes on.
