10 years ago Mop Mop aka Andrea Benini released "Isle of Magic" on Agogo records. It was one of the best-selling albums of all time for the label.

I always loved the whole album. During the Corona months in 2020-2021 I came up with the idea to ask Mop Mop if I could release some newer more electronic remixes on my very own label Best's Friends Music. After Rigopolar’s Greater EP, released on NAZCA last year, Los Suruba, presents this eighth release ‘Greater Ep, the remixes part 1’. A record where Rigopolar’s tracks ‘Greater’ and ‘The End (Of Eternity)’ are remixed by Santiago García, Luca Musto and MoM. You will be able to identify the particularities of these artists as well as their distinguished manners when it comes to creating new sounds. Rigopolar, originally from Mexico but established in Brooklyn is known to enrich his music production with cosmic sounds making Nazca Records very suitable for his style. The first remix of ‘The End (Of Eternity)’ comes by the hand Santiago Garcia, a beloved Argentinean producer resident in Spain that has impressed artists like Âme and Dixon with his elaborate sound display. Luca Musto’s version of ‘Greater’ is a playful one; the German artist mixes immersive vocals with metallic synths and soft chords. The last but not least MoM’s remix of ‘Greater’ is an intense track rich in circular sound waves that embrace you with every beat. Phenomenal Handclap Band is back on Toy Tonics with remixes by Superpitcher & Ray Mang! The New York indie disco crew delivers their third song to the Berlin dancefloor label. Their last 2 Toy Tonics singles, "Judge Not" and "Jail", have already made big waves with heavy rotations in the sets of people like DJ Harvey, Artwork, Gilles Peterson, Keinemusik and many others. Now they are back with another surefire smash: "Remain Silent".
The Phenomenal Handclap Band from New York has been known for a couple of funk-driven releases before, but also for supporting or collaborating with such giants as Bryan Ferry, Marcos Valle and Nile Rodgers & Chic. 
The band, based around multi instrumentalist and producer Daniel Collás, is releasing their new single in advance of a new album on Toy Tonics in 2020. This is just a warm up!

Phenomenal Handclap Band - Remain Silent (Superpitcher Dub)

Deny reality! It's just a dream... Berlin based producer @kidsimius is delivering his Andalucía EP via Feines Tier label. An hommage to the Flamenco culture of his homeland on the one hand as well as the Spanish Italo Disco scene in the 80s on the other. Typical drums, euphoric synths & pads, hammering arpeggios and a powerful voice by Flamenco singer Ana Sola are glued together just perfectly to a desiring anthem. On top @wildsarah rearranged an acid driven version and @echonomist dropped a boiling last-minute mix leaving only scorched earth.
