This is my very first mixtape — a soulful ride through house grooves and spacey feels. After many magical DJ nights in Paris and growing requests for mixtape, I finally recorded this mix. Over the past year, DJing has become one of my favorite forms of expression. I cherish those shared moments of energy on the dance floor.

Whether you’re dancing, dreaming, or simply vibing, I hope you find a little piece of yourself in this mix.

Electronic artist Grassskirt makes his comeback with new single ‘Starry Night’, an atmospheric guitar-laden downtempo cruise that perfectly soundtracks the feeling of summer approaching.

Grassskirt produces downtempo music with equal parts Balearic warmth and Scandinavian sophistication. Groovy feel-good beats with a penchant for the grand, cinematic motifs, created with a mix of acoustic and electronic elements.
 
Grassskirt, aka Jørn Kristensen, released the critically acclaimed album Hey Music Lover back in 2003 and has since focused on DJ’ing. Returning now to the Music For Dreams label, he is planning a second album, which is set to drop late 2025. ‘Starry Night’ is the first single from the album.
