From the vault of Studio Presqu'île's sleepless nights comes a bangin' of a two-header in the form of 'Hitherto', Brittany Dubson's debut on Chambre Noire.

The brainchild of former DJ and rave organizer Philippe Gratton, Brittany Dubson was conceived with no fixed intention in mind but the one to exorcise his creator from the limitations of functional dance music by way of spontaneous collaborations and freeform studio experimentations.

Pursuing the intriguing aesthetic brought to light through its Vapordub compilation earlier this year, the French imprint is now exploring deeper under the iceberg of contemporary psychedelic music. A ten-track generous blend of 80s-90s mellow new age and crystalline HD sound-design, in the true spirit of the eco-futurism vibe.

Fall shall sound smoother from October 12th with the seventh Bamboo Shows’ release and this crystalline cassette in limited edition, wonderfully illustrated by the underwater, aquatic art of Ida Lissner.

Hovering above the hazy sheen of Los Angeles sits a prism of refracted light and mysterious energy. This is where we find ‘Phosphor’, the latest collection of songs from LA-based producer/wizard @glophase.

Through various sonic explorations, Glo Phase has been distilling their sound meticulously over numerous releases including his standout ‘Early Moments’ on 100% Silk in 2021. ‘Phosphor’ opens the same doors of cosmic perception even further. Chromatic synth structures stand like statues on vast technicolor dreamscapes. Swinging, tumbling percussion deepens the flow as grooving, milky bass-lines pour over top. Every sound vaguely familiar, a lost recollection, flickering in and out of the frame. Yet, there is still something so undeniably fresh and emotive about these tracks, blending comfort with the unknown.

Sit back and drift away or stand up and move your feet. Either way, we are honored to present ‘Phosphor’ in all its splendor on digital and streaming platforms.
