Marcel Vogel aka Em Vee, needs no introduction! 

Label owner of both Lumberjacks in Hell & Intimate Friends, Marcel has been releasing killer disco & gospel orientated house music for well over a decade now, with the LIH label now running at 43 releases deep!

I've always been a fan of Marcel's DJ sets and was a regular follower of his show on Amsterdam’s Red Light Radio where he hosted some of my favourite DJs including Motor City Drum Ensemble, Hunee, Mendel and Rahaan. 

When he approached me about doing a guest mix I was absolutely thrilled to have him on board and this mix does not disappoint! Running at just over 2 hours, Marcel spins disco, funk, house & lots more and delivers some serious party vibes! 💃

This time on The Guest Mix, I have the pleasure of announcing Rainer Trüby.

Rainer is a well-respected artist, DJ and lover of wine and records. He is a master digger of soul, disco, boogie, jazz, house & latin who has been running club nights for the past 20 years and has released music on labels such as Compost Records alongside Danilo Plessow aka MCDE.  Rainer is also known for his fantastic compilations, my particular favourites include Glücklich and Soulgliding which was recently released on BBE. 

Rainer has delivered a very special Soulgliding mix which takes you on a musical glide through various musical territories such as Brasil, and spans Latin, Jazz, Soul & Funk…He has also kindly provided a full tracklist below.

To welcome in the spring we're very pleased to present our first Stan Radio mix of 2022, by none other than London's SlothBoogie; 

"SlothBoogie is one of London’s most highly respected underground electronic music crews, encompassing a DJ collective, record label, radio show & regular party series.

As an ensemble the crew have been selecting the finest underground electronic music on their acclaimed SlothBoogie.com website for well over a decade.

In that time they’ve been an influential driving force in the discovery of new talent as well as continued supporters of the best artists in the underground scene."

"Our usual SlothBoogie radio shows highlight the latest new music we discover or get sent which invariably tends to be pretty pumping stuff mixed together with a dancefloor in mind. So every now and then me and Danny like to collaborate on a special one off concept mix that breaks away from that format and lets us zone in on a mood or feeling. A few years back we were in the midst of a crazy heat wave in the UK and made a Heatwave Refreshment mix to enjoy whilst London went on a full melt down. Fast forward to 2022 and we wanted to do something really special again for Stan Ray that would be full of easy going mellow and warming sounds to serve as a much needed mood booster."
