About 13 years ago Rakontur hit the play button for the first time and has been attached to playing electronic music ever since. During those years he became an active member of the event and music scene, not only as a dj, but also as a label owner, event manager, booking agent and of course as a clubber himself. 

Throughout this time there has been quite an evolvement in his sound, after which he found home in melodic techno. This eventually came down to his preferred sound that’s mainly groovy, melodic, tensed and, wherever possible, with a dark mood.

Dutch DJ/producer Timmo Hendriks, known for his signature melodic progressive house style, signed a record deal with Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings back in 2018. After making his debut on the label with "In My Head," Hendriks promptly followed up with "Thinking About You", which has currently garnered over 3.5M streams on Spotify alone.

His next releases, such as "Magical" with Lindequist, "By Your Side" with Jordan Grace, or "Be Alright" with Marc Benjamin, continued to show increased energy and a more mature production style, which resulted in more great collaborations such as "Into The Light" with Nicky Romero, "Keep Me Close" with Dash Berlin, "Hold Me Down" with Marc Benjamin, "Remember" with Stadiumx, along with solo single "Something To Believe In" and 3-track debut artist EP "Follow You."

Besides producing music, Hendriks has performed live across the world at for example the Melkweg and Escape in Amsterdam as well as the Ministry Of Sounds in London and a six-city tour in India. With lots of music in the pipeline, 2022 marks another year to keep Timmo Hendriks on your radar!

Dutchman Sam Rose grew up in Soest, Utrecht. He started making music from a young age. Influences from playing the drums have ensured that he has found his own unique way in creating rhythms and grooves. Warm melodies and deep sounding beats in combination with vocal elements is what Sam's sound is known for. Delicate harmonies ensure that the music really comes to life, which occurs in a rendition in his early oeuvre.

Playing at venues like, Club Atelier, Levenslang, Basis and the Adam Tower where only places he looked up to a few years ago. Also making his debut at Geheime Liefde, HRFST and Into The Woods festival was a milestone.

Right now he provide a wide pallete with his recent work with support from the names of Eelke Kleijn, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Jochem Harmeling, Mitch de Klein and Huminal to name a few.

His most recent single together with Danish producer Solanca “One Step Further” was immediately added to “Hot New Dance” and “Fresh Finds Dance”. A nice lead-in for this collaboration with a perfect blend between both of their sounds.
