Crossfade Sounds Mixed 002 - Ntemos

Introducing "Epiphyte," the much-anticipated debut EP from Travis Jesse, an artist who brings a breath of fresh air from Melbourne, Australia, to the vibrant music scene of Buenos Aires, Argentina. With a musical journey that stretches over 15 years, transitioning from the bass guitar in local bands to mastering the art of electronic production, Travis draws upon a rich palette of influences including Shpongle, Above and Beyond, and John Digweed. His work is a blend of thoughtful melody and engaging rhythm, marking him as a distinctive voice in electronic music.

Slated for release in late March 2024 on Minds Alike Records, "Epiphyte" represents a milestone in Travis's musical evolution. The EP's lead track invites listeners into the realm of organic house, reflecting Travis's diverse musical background. It features layered vocals, detailed percussion, and a deep bassline, offering a sound that's both innovative and inviting.

The journey continues with "Double View," a track that explores the deeper, more progressive side of electronic music. Here, Travis skillfully combines smooth synth layers with compelling beats, creating an immersive experience that captivates the listener.

Having already made his mark with releases on esteemed labels such as 3rd Avenue, Soundteller Records, Particles, and One of A Kind, Travis Jesse's upcoming debut on Minds Alike Records is poised to be a defining moment in his career. Captain Support stands up together with those affected. Spread across Greece, Italy, Spain, various West and North African countries, as well as France and England, Captain Support organizes a network of activists, affected people, relatives, local support groups, and lawyers. Through public interventions, legal assistance, and prison visits, Captain Support seeks to inform about the mass incarceration of migrants in countries in Europe and Africa and to organize resistance against it.
And the work has an impact: by pursuing legal cases, numerous acquittals have been achieved in recent years. And organizing support helps break the isolation of prisons.
