Dan Rex returns to Melodiös Music with the new EP, "Arena del Mar," delivering a focused exploration of classic Melodic Progressive House.

The original track, "Arena del Mar," establishes its deep, immersive character through hypnotic, extended chord progressions and signature atmospheric melodies. This approach creates the genre's distinct feeling of forward motion and emotional depth, true to its timeless sound.

The package is completed by a remix from Mark Moncrieff, who makes his label debut. Moncrieff’s interpretation maintains the original's rich harmonic structure while infusing his own refined touch, resulting in a cohesive track perfectly suited for the genre's devoted fans.

UK-based DJ and producer James Burton lands back on Skream's Of Unsound Mind imprint for the third time with his 'Summer Disco' EP, which includes the rolling dancefloor weapon 'I Canny See'.

The label describes the influences of James Burton's new material: "Summer Disco EP is a melting pot of sounds, grooves and melodies inspired and created by the summer of 2018 amid long hazy ibiza benders and world cup hysteria, turns out it did come home after all"

The 'Summer Disco' EP is set for release November 16.

Having been at the forefront of dance music for over a decade, James Connolly revives his house-focused Dance System project for this first-rate single summer for Eats Everything’s Edible label. 

If slammin’ house bangers are what you like, then Dance System delivers them in spades.  An infectious piano motif and thumping kick shapes the lead track, ‘Please’, which pumps relentlessly, bountiful with playful vocal chops, tension building strings and DJ trickery edits.  The gloriously titled ‘Make Funky House Great Again’ certainly makes a damn fine stab at doing just that.  A skippy rhythm underpins some dope filter work on the sample, a nod perhaps to the French sounds of Roule/Bangalter, but totally fresh with Dance System’s modern sound stamped all over it.

Connolly has left an indelible mark as a progressive producer and DJ under both his L-Vis 1990 and Dance System aliases, alongside co-founding the highly influential label, Night Slugs.  Following Dance System releases on Clone and Ultramajic, Connolly took a hiatus from producing house music, as he focused on other projects, reviving the alias in April with the Wind 'Em Up EP, on Monkeytown Records, which was supported by Calvin Harris, Peggy Gou, DJ Boring, Ben UFO, Modeselektor, Sally C, Éclair Fifi, Mella Dee and our very own Eats Everything.
