What would a world be like without cheese, one of the most used ingredients in the world? Pizza would be a circle of heated dough, cheeseburgers would just be beef sandwiches and cheese toasties would literally just be toast. BORING.

If there’s one country that does cheese right it’s Italy, but that’s not the only thing that lands Italy on the world map – we’re talking about one young fellow named GIANT! He may not smell like a block of Gorgonzola, but he's just as potent.

At the top of his Louder Scream EP we have MSTRKRAFT. With a slice of bass too thick for bread, the record has an increasingly haunting synth that gets you feeling all kinds of sweaty. The flip has 2 cuts, AH OH DE and Wrong Call featuring Contribe. Both bangers in their own right, they perfectly bring GIANTs creativity and uniqueness to the forefront and exhibit his ability to write clubby Camembert for everyone.

We do thank GIANT for bringing some light to this dreary cheese-less world, but tend to think a world with both would be even better! In the wise words of Old El Paso says "Why can't we have both?"

'Can You Feel It' is the second track of the EP, bringing a slightly more aggressive groove, with plenty of percussion that will make you dance to its strong low frequencies.

HOOKED: I've been creating music for 4 years now.
Louz: I've been creating music for 6 years now.

-What do you use to make your tracks?
HOOKED: I use a lot of different synths, always trying to bring something innovative and a unique
groove to my tracks.
Louz: Well, I always use some artists that inspire me as a reference.

-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?
HOOKED: I discovered Dirtybird through some Brazilian artists that we used as a reference.
Louz: I discovered it through Brazilian artists from whom I am inspired.

-Which Dirtybird artist would you like to collaborate with the most?
HOOKED: I would like to collaborate with Claude Vonstroke, Cour T. and Matroda

- If your whole life was a movie, what title would best describe it?
HOOKED: There will never be giving up, and this release is a big step for this film's title.
Louz: Persistent

-What's the best concert you've ever been to?
HOOKED: Superclub PARK ART in Paraná, and also at EL FORTIN in Santa Catarina. Both clubs in
Brazil
Louz: Well, I've never really been to a concert, but I'd really like to.

-If you could travel through time, where and when would you go?
HOOKED: I think I would stay right now, because I'm making a big dream come true by releasing this
track with you
Louz: Hhu, I don't think I would have much to travel through time, but it would be nice on some occasions.

-What is the best way to describe yourself and why?
HOOKED: A persistent person, who will never give up on their dream, being born with talent is very
important, but talent without effort doesn't take us anywhere, so I consider myself a very
dedicated person.
Louz: I think what would describe me perfectly would be a Macaw.

-What species of bird best describes you and why?
HOOKED: An eagle because my goal in life is always to fly high
Louz:  I think what would describe me perfectly would be a Macaw.

-What does Dirtybird mean to you?
HOOKED: It means a dream, since I met the label I've been dedicating myself to get a release on it. So for me
it's a new achievement and I hope I can release more songs on the great reference label! Thank you!

1. When did you start making music?
I started in 2020, 5 years ago!

2. What makes YOU qwerky?
I was always a fan of 90ies subculture, and I collected a bunch of things (Magic the Gathering, vintage Dragon Ball cards). I have one of the largest collection of Hook Ups stickers in the world and some limited edition decks from this skateboard brand started by Jeremy Klein, one of my youth idol!

3. If you were a cartoon character, who would you be?
Dexter from Dexter's laboratory - I'm a neuroscientist

4. What’s your favorite sound?
My 2yo daughter laughing (also: a good bassline) 

5. You’re making dinner at your house… what’s on the menu?
Homemade pizza straight from my new oven (currently perfecting the dough recipe) with a great Bordeaux wine pairing ✌
