Don't Give Up (Demo) Brian Smith

Born and raised in upstate New York just outside of Ballston Spa, I am simply what you'd expect out of any teenager -- a lover of music, a lover of creativity, and a lover of life. In regards to my passion for music, it was more acquired than learned...in other words, I didn't come to learn I loved music, it was even more automatic than that. Much like an animal of the wild kingdom is brought up by the ways of survival, I was brought up by my parents to love music. As soon as I was old enough to crawl, my family would find me tapping on things and creating rhythms on any objects within reach of my small, fragile hands. As I grew up, the finger-tapping continued at an unprecedented rate. I soon realized I was starting to learn more and more about music, and I was starting to the realize the effect it had on my inner being. I was falling in love with music. It was then that I picked up a guitar and just started playing, and figuring out what chord works best with the other and then from there everything just fell into place for me. I currently play in three bands and am looking to join a fourth (including my own I founded in September 2012 called 54 Years).
