Summer is around the corner, and helping us usher it in with pizazz and cheer is @ray-mang. We're overjoyed; we've been close, captivated fans since the early days and have been looking for a project to slide his way since day one at LPH.

This particular journey started with a remix of SAIDÊRA's "Deixa Tudo Fluir," which LPH released earlier in the year. It's a feel-good samba song, magically both sunkissed and touched by a gentle pang of melancholia.

Mr. Mang magnified the presence of the rhythm section and imbued the whole arrangement with a playful patience, crafting a Brazilian-inflected disco jamboree that's tuned for sunset dance circles yet suited for all hands-in-the-air moments. Enjoy it alone or with groups small and large alike.

Newcomer Izzy Wise delivers a wonderful disco and afrobeat record on french label Délicieuse Records. After releasing on japanese institution Mule Musiq, the San Francisco based producer hits us with four serious disco-house burners.

On remix duties, french legend Uptown Funk Empire, the man of many projects (Voilaaa, Mr President, Patchworks) brings a dirty disco touch to the Keep It Movin’ single. On the other hand, Colombian sensation Bosq brings a latin flavoured take to the record single.

Hot on the heels of Guinu’s modern Brazilian jazz-funk opus Palagô LP, comes an exceptional remix 12” of four standout album tracks. For the A1, Jose Marquez flips the title track into a percussion-heavy and hypnotic Afro-Latin house burner, a masterful future classic of a mix that feels all but destined for late night Louie Vega or Osunlade sets. Faze Action harken back to their early-2000s vibe with their loungey beat-driven reimagining of Haja Fé.

On the flip, RNT stalwart Diogo Strausz takes the angular Electromandinga into the stratosphere, with anthemic synth melodies, rousing bloco percussion and interstellar vocal treatments. Rounding out the EP, well-loved Brazilian producer Carrot Green gives Porão de Ferro an 80s boogie makeover, complete with dubbed out vocals and funky synth bass work over bouncy analog beats.

Since his debut EP back in 2015 he has going from strength-to-strength including an impressive release on Let’s Play House. His latest adventure with Razor-N-Tape is an African-infused disco EP, 4 perfectly produced stompers to get any basement or festival rocking! Today we’re delighted to premiere one of the best tracks on the release “All Day”. The wonky bassline and sweet vocals will viciously ear worm through your head long after you stop listening, complimented by percussion that any African tribe would be proud of.
