Henry Wu aka Kamaal Williams of "Yussef Kamaal", returns to EGLO Records following on from his joint EP with "K15". 
"Deep In The Mudd" is a heavy weight 6 track EP which journeys through Broken Beat, House, Hip Hop and Jazz. The previously released ‘Negotiate’ ft. Simeon Jones, which originally came out on EGLO sister label "Hotep", gets a 2017 remix courtesy of the legendary Kaidi Tatham and UK funky OG Hardhouse Banton joins Wu on title track ‘Deep In The Mudd’ and ‘Century’.

Back behind the drums and swinging harder than ever, with his new titanium hip crowdfunded by the immense generosity of friends and fans, brazilian drumming legend and one third of Azymuth Ivan ‘Mamão’ Conti releases a brand new solo album next year with Far Out Recordings. It’s his first solo release in over twenty years and the first to come out on vinyl since his 1984 Milestone classic The Human Factor. As people of earth may not quite be ready for the explosive cosmic samba of Mamão’s new album just yet, we’re easing into it with a double header of heavily percussive, future-centric, jazz-minded, yet club-ready remixes. 

Following on from the IG Culture meets 22a remix EP released earlier this year, the second remix 12” ahead of Mamão’’s album release, hosts three producers united not only by a foundational appreciation for the work of Ivan Conti and Azymuth, but also in the belief that there’s much more to dance music than straight four to the floor. These are two of Germany’s most consistently on-fire producers: Money Sex Records buddies Max Graef and Glenn Astro, along with the ascendant Mancunian producer/percussionist Contours. With Mamão’s famously jovial character shining through each remix, the EP spans hip-hop, deep house, jazz-funk and afro-brasilian rhythms, giving the listener a taste of what’s to come from Mamão’s much anticipated new album in 2018.

Moonshoe Records is proud to present MSHT002  “Desktop Zealots” - the forthcoming mini-album cassette from Melbourne natives Horatio Luna, an associated act of the notoriously talented 30/70 collective. With one man at its core (Bassist Henry Hicks) and an ever-changing backline; Horatio Luna’s output is constantly evolving - this time with Nap King Cole and Ziggy Zeitgest.

‘Desktop Zealots’ is series of raw live recordings made in the Mandarine Dream Studios. The tape features lusty organs and wholesome bass lines that despite the contemporary production, help hold a timeless sound. The frequent presence of syncopated percussion, sensual, dreamy synths, ambiguous SFX on top of the background chatter of the players, all culminate in a raw, organic feel. Desktop Zealots exhibits a flowing progression from crunchy, swinging jams to deeper spirited numbers towards the end, hinting to the future sound of Horatio Luna. 

Expect the tape in stores exclusively in Australia late February, though hard copies will also ship to the rest of the world from the Moonshoe Bandcamp page from release date.

I Can See, the second transmission from Harvey Sutherland’s upcoming 12”, increases the intensity from the broken beat cinemascope of first single Amethyst. Like its predecessor, it features Kahlil Memphis on drums. A fractured jungle excursion with moments of thundering energy and an undeniable UK spirit, the track's inspiration is rooted in a visceral hallucination; the feeling of climbing a never-ending staircase, each step drawing you closer to the light. I Can See draws to a close with the fitting together of a beautifully complex puzzle, before a cut to black.
