I'm NEAL

I'm a 21 year old college student and an aspiring Singer/Music Producer/Remixer. I also play Guitar & Piano and training to be a DJ.

I started with guitar & piano in 2016, singing in 2017, music production in 2020 and DJing in my bedroom with a DDJ 400 controller in 2021. I loved singing rock music as I was playing the guitar and also soul music for playing the piano. And in 2020 after passing my high school I decided to take it up a notch and started with music production, I got heavily influenced by Progressive House and Uplifting Euphoric Trance music while I was learning, and slowly gained a liking for Melodic Dubstep as well.

So far because of college and studies, I haven't been able to pursue music as a full time career as it gets very tough to balance things, but after my graduation I'll be doing this full time in a few years. For the same reason I haven't released any original music yet, it's mostly remixes on SoundCloud platform to gain some feedback, exposure and a small fanbase, but later I'm planning to post acoustic covers, song making videos and DJing Transition videos on Instagram to increase my exposure and fanbase. And further down the line I'm planning to release original music of my own with influences from Progressive House,Trance,Rock,Soul and Melodic Dubstep with my vocals in it as well mostly in English & Hindi, and later on Bengali as well which is my mother tongue.

Mr.Arion the owner of the record label Musicon Channel approached me for releasing any unsigned original music of mine and remixes as well. I chose for the remixes as I didn't have any unreleased original music and I was having my exams as well. Meanwhile I was provided with a bunch of songs to select from, and somehow Close To You by Dave Rice Ft. Cappa caught my attention. I genuinely felt that I can incorporate a lot of melodic dubstep vibes into this track.

As soon as my exam ended I got to work, I typically take a week or two to get done with all the production,beatmaking, sound designing, mixing and mastering. But this time it was a bit different, the process was so fluid and natural that I finished the track within 4-5 days and sent the track as a private link on SoundCloud. Mr. Arion was kind and enthusiastic enough to get it selected for the release with some minor changes in the intro, which I worked upon within a day or two and re submitted it and it was properly selected for a release.

I am truly grateful to Mr Arion and the whole team of Musicon Channel for this amazing opportunity. Getting an opportunity like this in Kolkata,India all the way from Budapest, Hungary is really overwhelming. I hope my remix adds to the legacy of Close To You created by Dave Rice and Cappa, and hope to produce some more good quality remixes for Musicon Channel as well as I'm planning to do a few more. And if things go right then obviously release some original tracks as well if Mr. Arion and the whole team of Musicon Channel see my work to be a great fit to their vision and brand of Musicon Channel.'
