Sometime an artist’s music is so crisp and clear, you can feel it permeate throughout your being. Current New York resident by way of Berlin, Nhii is back on Do Not Sit with four radiant pieces of music on “Motif of Presence”. Each track’s intricacies and melodies sit perfectly balanced between the driving pulse of the dancelfoor and the ethereal feeling of escape. Each are meticulously crafted and invite the listener to hear the subtle nuances and rhythms that make this EP a masterpiece.

Two fresh interpretations for Kamilo Sanclemente's trademark single 'Dew' which was released last year.

Industry veterans Weekend Heroes are on fire lately with a continuous output of very big releases. They've just topped the Beatport progressive house chart with their single 'Upside Down' whilst their other singles 'Lucid', 'Brightlight' and 'Dragonfly' and 'Off Limit' also moved quite a few crowds to say the least. They deliver a proper peak time melodic progressive house rework here, top shelve stuff!

On the flipside we welcome on board Ceci for his Manual Music debut. The Italian producer provides a nice contrast to the ruggedness of the other remix, going for a more laid back approach. Lovely organic instruments and flowing airy soundscapes make this a true dreamer.

Two strong remixes that certainly do Kamilo's original justice.

Sam T Harper - Chasing Stars (John Clarcq Remix)

I've always loved this song and the vocal; originally written for the movie "She's Having a Baby". The lyrics are about a couple going through childbirth and an unexpected emergency with the mother and unborn child in danger. The father is waiting for news of his wife and his baby's condition. 

I made this for playing at Nude Beach and various other events earlier this year, hope you like it!

The.CHAIN is a 19 year old ambitious creative artist, producer & DJ / performer from the North East coastal town of Whitley bay.  His productions and DJ sets draw on a wide range of genres and influences and growing up in a musical home with parents heavily into the british rave scene through the late 80’s and 90’s; this passion rubbed off and influenced him as he has shared a love of music with his dad through his extensive underground vinyl collection.  His first single is a hazy organic house dreamer adding his own unique inimitable vocal stylings to the mix.  Gus F proves his developing prowess and skills honed through his club nights Dig Deep and ever popular beach parties Secret Sunday. Gus delivers a more radiantly optimistic interpretation of ‘He’s Peaking Sideways’ that heads into uplifting, warm positive vibes and soaring melodies and hooks galore.Gus has been blowing up with his deep progressive house track ‘Smalltown Boy’ released after winning the global Sasha / Last Night On Earth DJing competition. 2020 was a chaotic year for planet earth; from the devastating Australian wildfires to Brexit to Covid-19, a global pandemic that put a sudden end to any traditional music and entertainment events with physical distance restrictions imposed around the world. No more concerts, clubs, beach parties or even gatherings in person.

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, live streaming exploded. A form of musical expression and social connection over the internet with broadcasts by musicians, DJ's and producers around the world. From global icons streaming from their kitchens, gardens, bunkers and even baths (we're looking at you Binary Finary) with audiences of tens of thousands (Gracias Hernan!) to local DJs playing for handfuls of friends, connecting music lovers in a new way, providing positive experiences to help everybody through uncertain times and building new communities. The technical challenges were not insignificant; platform copyright algorithms, optimising audio and video codecs, virtual audio routing and internet connectivity caused many hiccups along the way, but also gave rise to heroes like SUAT wandering around like a 21st century one man mobile disco encouraging everybody to dance (we salute you Sir!)

With travel restrictions in place, there were no pilgrimages to Café del Mar or Café Mambo, Benirras or Pikes on the white isle of Ibiza. Music lovers forced into isolation for long periods instead.

Secret Sunset was created by Gus F on the beautiful island of Jersey to share something a bit different, for those still under quarantine, for those who mourned for Ibiza, for those who love magical moments at sunset (and maybe the occasional sunrise) in beautiful locations on this incredible island.

Sound Intentions followed soon after; an outlet to release music that had been produced especially for those magical Secret Sunset events.
