Noel Sanger is an artist who, while flying mostly under the mainstream radar, has cultivated a rich musical history along the way. His releases dating back to the 1990s remain in high demand, and his current work, always critically acclaimed, continues to see top DJ support.

Releasing on some of dance music’s top labels, with a recent focus on his own Dissident Music imprint, he has made regular appearances in Beatport’s top ten genre charts, as well as top tens at the Billboard Dance Club Chart, and the top 15 of UK Musicweek’s buzz chart.

Over the years, his work has been heard on labels such as Black Hole, Spinnin’, Armada, Perfecto, High Contrast, Lost Language, Coldharbour, Mute, Dissident and dozens more. He has remixed and worked with artists like Erasure, Nadia Ali, John Taylor of Duran Duran, Matt Darey, Soul In The Machine (with Twin Peaks star Chrysta Bell), and Markus Schulz.

Noel toured extensively as North American warm-up for the best known DJ of all time, Tiesto, and even mixed “Summerbreeze 2,” the follow-up to Tiesto’s “Summerbreeze” mix CD on Nettwerk Recordings. Later, he was invited by no less than BT to collaborate on tracks for Tiesto’s Grammy-nominated 2006 album “Elements Of Life.”

Evolving to deeper sounds, Noel’s label, Dissident Music, was first launched in 2007 and produced a number of hits throughout the ensuing 7 years. Recently relaunched as part of Miami’s Essential Media Group, Dissident has gone from strength to strength, closing out 2021 with three top ten Beatport releases in a row.

As a DJ, Noel has manned the booth at some of the world’s best clubs, sharing the stage with some of electronic music’s top names. He has played at festivals such as Ultra Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival (Orlando) and his South Florida residencies have hosted some of the biggest names in dance music, with Noel playing to hundreds and even thousands of eager clubbers each week. Now residing in Orlando, Noel plays select shows nationwide and spends his weeks in the studio, remixing and preparing for his upcoming releases.

It isn’t always the case that after this many years, an artist remains as creative and relevant as Noel has. But between his productions, his label, and his expertise behind the decks, Noel is proving without question that the best is yet to come.

What is techno? Scientists and philosophers have long since pondered the concept of its musical definition since it burst out of Detroit in the mid-‘80s. Is it that notion of the “ghost in the machine”, of soul from electronics that its inventors elicited? Or is it more the repetitive throb and thump of 4/4 beats and slow-burning momentum that the Berghain generation are proponents of? Croatian producer Petar Dundov’s stunning music manages to marry both ideals in the most explosive of fashions.

To Dundov, “techno is music that precedes movement. It is dance music, solid enough to carry emotions through the dance floor and abstract enough to be a template for ever”. And indeed his breathtaking productions embody this ethos, serving the inherent function of making your body pulse spontaneously while also challenging your brain with its complex melodies and slow-burning, hypnotic progressions. It’s the antidote for anyone who thinks that techno is about senseless, dull looping.

Although maybe the word “techno” doesn’t give enough detail about his style, it’s probably the nearest ballpark to whose principles his music adheres – and he is keen to expand the horizons of what people know and expect of the genre. But it’s that sense of his tracks being alive, forever evolving and expanding and increasing in intensity, which gives his music its unique sound and has seen his work crossover into a myriad of different areas of the global electronic music scene. The last two years have seen his mind-bending single Oasis (played by everyone from Dubfire to Sasha to Ben Klock to Prins Thomas to Timo Maas) take the scene by storm with its intricate, ever-changing melodies, John Digweed snap him up for an epic rework of Alan Fitzpatrick’s Reflections, and Gregor Tresher squeeze a deep, mesmerising remix of his track The Life Wire out of him.

His music shows you that he’s a producer with more than churning out mindless, functional and dispensable drivel on his mind. There’s a philosophy entrenched in his productions that breathes the very spirit of life and dynamism into them: “My ultimate goal as a producer and musician is to bridge the world of inspiration and physical world to the extent where the listener wouldn't be able to distinguish between the two. Music has this unique property to communicate deep emotions that are inherently in all of us. We just forgot how to use them, and my search is an attempt to revive those emotions where we all resonate as one.”

Born in Zagreb in the early ‘70s, his career in dance music stretches back the best part of 20 years, but it’s only in the new millennium that he’s been using his own name for his productions. Over the years he’s graced many of the world’s most prestigious and best-loved techno institutions – including mega-festivals I Love Techno, EXIT, Awakenings and Wire, and cutting-edge clubs like Berghain, Matter (RIP), Womb, Air, Fuse and Space. He counts a longstanding relationship with Belgium’s legendary Music Man label amongst his achievements, an imprint that has also played host to releases by everyone from Jeff Mills (for whose label Tomorrow he created the Sculptures mini-LP) to Green Velvet to Robert Hood, and after completing his acclaimed debut album Escapements in 2008, he’s got the follow-up in the works (for completion by the end 2010).

Petar Dundov makes intelligent electronic music that breaks boundaries, moves feet and twists minds. He is without a doubt one of the most inspiring, original and daring producers in electronica, and with the likes of Sven Väth, Francois K, Laurent Garnier, Adam Beyer, Josh Wink, Guy J, Glimpse, Hernan Cattaneo, Brendan Moeller, and Danny Tenaglia amongst his fans, it would be hard to disagree.

Renato Cohen a.k.a.Renato Carvalho Cohen is born and raised in São Paulo, Brazilian drum wizard began his career as a DJ and music producer back in 1996. Since then, he has already played at the world's most important techno venues and festivals, his authentic work exciting the masses wherever he goes. 

Though he's been an established name on the Brazilian club circuit for years and has released numerous ground breaking records, Renato deservedly hit the international spotlight in 2002 with the enormous 'Pontape', which was rapidly signed up by Intec.

Renato has almost single-handedly put the Brazilian dance music scene on the map. With his own unique way of mixing styles, from house to techno and influences of funk and jazz, he has built up a clear Brazilian electronic music identity.

This time for the guest mix on our channel he followed the concpet of mixing just his own productions and he certainly did deliver. Highly recommended

One of the most loved and respected names in the Australian dance music industry, Kasey Taylor made his mark in his hometown of Melbourne before John Digweed scouted him in the mid-nineties on his first trip to Australia where Kasey was playing the warm up set for him. It was that warm up where he gained Digweed’s instant respect and shortly after he invited Kasey to play at his infamous Bedrock night in London. That was the catalyst for Taylor to take his sound to a global audience, leading to international exposure and a permanent move to Europe to satiate the demands of his worldwide bookings that followed. Kasey is the creative power behind the highly revered Vapour Recordings, the 25-year old mainstay which was founded in 1997 and is over 160 releases deep and still going strong. 
More recently Kasey has gone through a massive personal and creative resurgence. The recently rebranded Vapour Recordings is on a roll again with the label releasing regularly after a 2 year break due to the pandemic. The standard of the releases is and has always been what makes the label stand out from the rest, with names like Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Gai Barone, Stereo Underground, Jamie Stevens, Nick Warren, Dousk, James Monro, Mike Rish, GMJ, D-Nox & Beckers and 
many more high profile artists all appearing on the label. 

With an armoury of names like that, it’s easy to see why Vapour creates excitement with the scene’s biggest players. 
On a more recent production level, Kasey’s releases and remixes have appeared on labels such as Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Bedrock as well as his very own label Vapour Recordings. Kasey has a ton of releases and remixes in the pipeline as well as some exciting collaborations with some of the worlds finest producers as he continues his drive to making quality productions to raise the hands of his beloved loyal followers on dance floors all over the world. Behind the decks, Kasey is a fan favourite at all the clubs and festivals in his hometown of Australia as well as on a global scale too. He’s played and supported alongside all the industry greats you can think of and is one of the very few that can captivate an audience with his combination of versatility, patience and experience which allows him to move through a variety of genres from deep house to techno with his perfect attention to detail and immaculate programming. With his finger well and truly on the pulse, Kasey has an ear for a great tune and is always looking to the future, and that future is set for one of Australia’s most popular dance music artists and exports to continue his already well decorated career well into the future.

For this mix, I wanted to create a sonic experience that would take listeners on a profound adventure, one that transcends boundaries and genres. Organic House lays the foundation, connecting us to the primal rhythms of nature, and setting the stage for the melodic and hypnotic voyage that awaits.

As the mix unfolds, I carefully curate a seamless transition into the enchanting world of Melodic House & Techno. Here, the melodies take on a life of their own, guiding us into a state of trance-like euphoria. It's a delicate balance between raw emotion and driving energy, an immersive experience that I hope will raise your consciousness. 

But the journey doesn't stop there. We venture even further, delving into the ever-evolving soundscape of Progressive House. With each track, I wanted to create a sense of constant motion, a feeling that we are moving through time and space, carried by the waves of evolving melodies and pulsating bass lines.

Looking ahead to the future, I am incredibly humbled about the projects on the horizon. One of my most significant ambitions is to release my original album. This album will be a reflection of my musical evolution and a testament to the power of creativity through music.

Additionally, I am thrilled to share that there are exciting collaborations in the works. You can expect future releases on labels like Dreaming Awake and Flow Music, with Austin Leeds. 

In essence, the 333 Sessions Mix is more than just a compilation of tracks. It's a transformative experience, a testament to the power of music to connect and elevate our spirits. And as we move forward, keep an eye out for my original album and new music releases that promise to push the boundaries of creativity in the electronic music realm. Born and raised in the UK, with diverse DNA and a unique way of experiencing the world, James Harcourt is a unique producer that learned the impact of electronic music during a vibrant London club scene.   Since 2021 his reliable flow of unique sounding and dancefloor focused music has graced the DJ sets of Tale Of Us, Sasha, Adriatique, Marino Canal, John Digweed and the list grows ever longer.   

He has been summarised by Berlin producer Jepe as "delivering a constant flow of great tracks ... beautiful compositions and imaginary voyages".  Inspired by a love of characterful, classic synthesizers and the fusion of these machines with the seemingly limitless possibilities of modern production software, he produced a string of heavily supported releases ensuring a steady, constant growth backed by a consistent work ethic and the purest form of love and connection to music and life itself.
 
Most notably his track "Beholden" from 2021 has reached quarter-of-a-million Spotify streams and featured in the Tale Of Us / Afterlife sets for many months.  His Renaissance track "Refraction" spent nearly two months in the Beatport Electronica top 10 and his debut release on Adriatique's excellent Siamese label - "Bloom" - has been featured in the much coveted Spotify Editorial playlist curated by Tale Of Us.

Hailing from the Spanish mainland is a sound that’s resonating globally thanks to a select choice of producers that have been able to create their own path after years of honest and competent work. A notable character from that sub-culture of game changers is Marc Martinez Nadal, aka AFFKT, who consecrated a music career and has been a driving force behind a vivid & empowering sound that is refined by his drive for perfection. He feels deeply in communion with sounds that range from the most energetic hyper-glossy techno to the most detailed and innovative indie-electronica.

Having worked on coining the sound of this alias since 2008, it has been a plethora of sound, place, person & culture that has provided a platform for AFFKT to experiment with his output. Both as an experienced music producer of his own projects and as a demanded remixer. Still fresh is the mind-bending rework he made for GusGus’ ‘Simple Tuesday’. Once described as a ‘Son of a Thousand Sounds’ – precisely the title he chose later for his highly acclaimed, even award-winning LP released in 2016. Another remarkable evidence of his talent, creativity and open-mindedness is the ‘The Big Picture’, his latest album to date, a tour de force released on the renowned Mobilee imprint.
