This first volume brings together five carefully selected tracks, each rooted in the Melodic Techno genre, offering listeners an immersive journey into the emotive and melodic depths of electronic music.

The compilation features contributions from a diverse lineup of artists: VOVAWYE from Buenos Aires, London’s Carina Lawrence, Saudade—born in India and now based in Antwerp, Blake Strange from Berlin, and Leipzig’s Moritz Sachse. Each artist infuses their own signature sound, resulting in a cohesive yet varied collection that showcases the global reach and creative breadth of Melodic Techno.

This double header is full of enigmatic soundscapes reminiscent of industry heavyweights, once again showcasing an ability to craft visceral sonic experiences that captures a sound which walks the line between Chaos & Clarity.

"Thirsty," the EP's title track, pulsates with a profound peak-time energy, embodying the intense, late-night atmosphere that Blake describes as "a tension between restraint and release." Rich with textured synths, hypnotic rhythms, and shadowy undertones, the track intricately builds towards an explosive climax, mirroring the palpable anticipation found on the dancefloor.

The EP continues its dynamic narrative with "Crazi," a relentless and rhythmically compelling counterpart, amplifying the sonic depth and showcasing Blake's flair for blending rhythmic synthwork. Both tracks illustrate a nuanced understanding of Techno's emotional and structural complexities.

For Blake Strange, music is about crafting a sonic journey that leaves the audience immersed in an unforgettable experience. Like a film, his sets are filled with unique elements, unexpected twists, and climactic moments. A reflection of his background as a film director and editor, which influences every aspect of his artistry.

Blake burst onto Australia’s club scene in 2020, playing iconic venues like Club 77, The Ivy, and Home Bar, sharing stages with legends such as Alan Fitzpatrick and Pig&Dan.

In 2021, his track "Shadow" on Stil vor Talent hit #19 on Beatport's Electronica Top 100. By 2023, he solidified his reputation with standout releases like the "Phantom" EP and the "Alter Ego" album on Jannowitz Records, placing him alongside label heavyweights like Alex Stein and Township Rebellion. That same year, his versatility shone through with the release of the "Crave" EP on Nihil Young's Frequenza label, further cementing his status as a rising force in the underground scene.

Relocating to Berlin in 2023, Blake quickly made his mark on Germany’s electronic music landscape, with performances at renowned venues like Ritter Butzke, Bahnwärter Thiel, KitKatClub, and Birgit. His dynamic sets, rich in melodic tension and driving grooves, continue to captivate dance floors, while his productions push the boundaries of techno.

With releases on Mobilee, Recovery Collective, and Capital Heaven, and an ever-expanding global presence, Blake Strange is an artist steadily carving his path to the forefront of the international electronic music scene; driven by passion, storytelling, and an unwavering commitment to the craft.
