Presenting their second release of the year, REFRACTION RECORDS welcomes Chiari to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Brazil, Chiari first emerged in 2019 on the strength of releases for The Purr and Magician on Duty. With a deep, organic and groovy sound, the Balneário Camboriu resident was quickly tipped as a new artist to watch going forward. The next three calendar years would see Chiari choose his projects wisely, adding Hoomidaas, Seven Villas and Where The Heart Is to his discography, while refining his repertoire with further depth, colour and detail. A remix of Pedro Capelossi's 'Horimono' via Loot Recordings ended 2023 on a high note, ultimately leading to his first release of 2024, and subsequent Refraction debut 'Plans & Plants', alongside remixes from Retza and Luis León.

Earthly Delights is an organic house record label that focuses on deep and melodic tracks. The imprint's new release is the fourth edition of their 'UnEarthed Delights' series, and it's a majestic compilation that features 14 tracks from both fresh talents and Earthly Delights favourites.

The record labels roster includes classic tracks from the likes of Be Svendsen, Armen Miran, El Mundo and Hraach. This release features music from Earthly Delights regulars, including the likes of Tayu, Andres Volta, Noraj Cue and Shaun Benjamin.

Some of the artists making their debut release on Earthly Delights include the likes of Mattia Lyra, Salahaddin and Jamin. Many of the artists featuring on this release have also worked with other respected record labels such as Selador, Cafe De Anatolia, Bar 25, Sol Selectas, Stil Vor Talent and All Day I Dream.

This release is an epic selection of dance floor focused music, and features genres ranging from Afro house to melodic house/techno. The release has something for everyone, and the individual tracks orientate around organic percussion, sensual vocals, enchanting melodies and immersive atmosphere.

Anya Nova's debut EP "Hawa," released on The Purr, marks a significant milestone in her burgeoning career as an EDM artist. Hailing from New York, Anya showcases her exceptional production skills and musical knowledge through the enchanting title track, "Hawa." The track beautifully blends elements of organic house with lush melodic sections and immersive atmospheres, creating a captivating listening experience that highlights her unique sound.

Complementing Anya's original track are remixes by seasoned musicians Umannto and Brian David. Their interpretations add depth and diversity to the EP, reflecting their extensive experience and presence in the music scene. Umannto infuses his remix with a rhythmic intensity that heightens the track's groove, while Brian David's version brings a nuanced, melodic refinement, making the EP a well-rounded offering.

REFRACTION is thrilled to celebrate its first anniversary with a milestone release: the label’s very first vinyl record.

Label founder Pedro Capelossi teams up with the talented and knowledgeable Francesco Mami to present the Lajka EP, featuring three captivating original tracks. Adding to the EP’s uniqueness, remixes are delivered by renowned dub master Mathimidori and Brazil’s rising star, Chiari.

This distinctive and innovative project was crafted by Pedro and Francesco in his studio in Italy, seamlessly blending their individual styles to create something truly special.

“Lajka” kicks off the EP with a hybrid and highly original piece of music. Distorted chords, percussive rhythms, an irresistible drive, and epic moments all come together to define this standout track.

The second track “Kota” delivers a powerful dub techno banger. Robust chords and a fantastic atmosphere combine with a rich, full-bodied groove to create an unforgettable experience.

“Lajkinha” serves as the grand finale. True to its name, originality takes center stage here. This groovy deep house track is highlighted by a mesmerizing bass solo that could keep you captivated for hours.

Mathimidori, the downtempo and dub alias of Mathias Kaden, adds his signature touch to the EP. 

His interpretation of Lajka is a relaxed and dub-infused version, featuring beautiful vocal snippets, intricate moving chords, and a sublime dub groove that perfectly complements the track’s essence.

Chiari once again proves his prowess as an exceptional producer with his remix of Lajka. 

The Brazilian talent delivers a fantastic deep tech rework, seamlessly blending groove and energy to create a track that’s destined to ignite dance floors.
