Nuremberg based producer Homebase steps up for the 25th release of Beatwax Records.

The German artist has been in the mixture of electronic music culture since the 90s. After landing a weekly residency the Toxicc Club in 1993, his devotion towards dance music began, later working at Tom Novy's record store in the city.

Beatwax carry a similar presence in the scene, originally opening as a record store in 2003 and becoming a central hub for collaboration and supplying music to the city's diggers. Fast forward to 2021 and the collective is still running strong with over 50 digital releases, and the 25th vinyl from local legend Homebase. Dedicated to the musical art since 2006, Fábio Pereira started to release as his first demos and, behold, his first release happens by a publisher called Plusquam Division (Germany) where since then the doors to successive new label agreements have been opened, where Proton family, showing the world how their first interpretations of Balkan Connection for example. Subsequently his name wins for his work where big name artists such as Laurent Garnier, Nick Warren, Ricky Ryan and Hernan Cattaneo supporting his themes in they’re international performances. Your genre is very chosen in deep with strong tendencies for progressive, melodic and groove. Years later, and with his fuller musical background, he reached an agreement with Sudbeat Music, Hernan Cattaneo's publisher, which has always supported him by playing his themes on his usual radio program RESIDENT which made him take a professional leap, obtaining reservations outside of their forbidding country, Portugal, with performances by the well-known ADE festival in the Netherlands (where he performed 3 times), Argentina (Córdoba and Buenos Aires) and Greece (Thessaloniki). Currently his discography is full working and has agreements with more publishers, also highlighting Sound Avenue, Juicebox Music, Particles, Armadillo, just to name a few ones.

This stunning 3 track EP includes 2 remixes, as we welcome Prog Powerhouse Master Lexicon Avenue for his inU debut and remix from Head honcho Gav Easby completes the set.

We kick things off with the original from Maze 28 himself. We hear a deeper and more groove driven sound here, driving basslines and rolling signature sound to get things moving and opens up a dark evolving atmosphere.

Next up, we go straight to the dancefloor and move things up a gear, with this stunning remix from Lexicon Avenue. The original elements get twisted into a total groove filled start, the track progresses and evolves into and EPIC, euphoria breakdown, before hitting the dancefloor hard back into the ever evolving grooves!
