Presenting their Replug debut are Ric Niels and Kabi, with their anticipated new 2 track EP entitled "Kimica".

Hailing from Argentina, between them they have seen their music grace labels such as The Soundgarden, Mango Alley, Plaisirs Sonores, Plattenbank and more, with their unique progressive sounds.

Joining forces for their new EP, starting with the lead track "Kimica" which sets out as a flowing, moody, rhythmic journey alongside a fluid, resonating repetitive synth line which acts as the main hook, driving the track to a hypnotic crescendo break, only dropping out to reveal the core elements in a classy, well defined production.

The second track of the EP "Mutant" brings us to a slightly different feel, with pulsating rhythms, delayed synth stabs and lush chord progressions sitting around a cyclic synth line building into a superb piece of elegant progressive, which is sure to win over fans of their music even more.

The Kimica EP is showing us the unified production skills and future for Ric Niels and Kabi and a very welcome debut to the Replug family.

'Beginning the new year in style, Cid Inc’s Replug Records welcomes GMJ and Matter back to the label for a two-track showcase. Based in Melbourne, the Aussie duo have been beloved figures in the global progressive house scene for over a decade. Having forged a distinctive sound which focuses on inventive use of melody and rhythm, the duo has drawn the lines between global dance cultures without adhering to any fixed formula. Whether operating in solo capacity or as a duo, GMJ and Matter have taken their elusive production touch to the industry’s most esteemed imprints. From Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music and UK behemoth Anjunadeep, to Australia's long-standing Balance Music and their own burgeoning Meanwhile imprint, it’s GMJ and Matter’s storytelling style that continues to surprise and inspire even the genre’s most discerning trendsetters. Replug has also served as a landing spot for the talented Aussie’s, with the release of Matter’s ‘Satori’ EP marking his label debut in 2017, while GMJ first arrived in 2016 with a contribution to the label’s Replugged, Vol. 2 collection. Now, fresh off their latest Meanwhile vehicle ‘EXT 135’, GMJ and Matter land back on Replug to begin the new year with ‘Metanoia’.  

 As a recent favourite of Replug boss Cid Inc, EP opener and title selection 'Metanoia' finds GMJ and Matter composing with a strong sense of space. Instantly seductive, its looping hypnotism and subtle musicality never fail to command your attention, driving each other into a whirlpool of spiralling emotions, making for a flexible club track that bends between scenes while injecting vibrant energy into the dancefloor. Rich atmospheres, effervescent percussion and dubbed out tones are at a premium across the eight-minute excursion, with each sound being an event in a slowly expanding landscape, zooming out to reveal a world of scale in which depth and contrast coax perfectly with rhythm and melody.  

 Moving forward to selection two, GMJ and Matter masterfully synthesize their talents into one singular meditative vision that is 'In Bloom'. Building with a subdued pulse, its smoky resonance eventually gives way to melodic experimentation, where textural and structural dimensions blanket subterranean wobbles and tightly knit percussion, resulting in a profound mood setting experience. Thematically distinct throughout, the duo’s misty melodies are haunting and highly memorable, ringing out in timeless suspension across a mood lifting break, before segueing into a utopian finale that resonates with a rare combination of hope and reflection. 

 The 'Metanoia' project is a fantastical journey across a vivid electronic cosmos, one where GMJ and Matter carefully balance technical vision, with thought-provoking musicality and elaborate rhythmic sequences, making for a two-track affair that brings us closer to knowing the enigmatic duo, while continuing to live in the mystery of their design. Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint rounds out the month of April by showcasing new interpretations of 'Amirim' by Choopie and Golan Zocher. With a career that spans the better part of three decades, Israeli artist Choopie is widely regarded as one of his country's premiere electronic music talents. Releases via Bedrock and Yoshitoshi laid the groundwork for what has been a storied career, one which has enjoyed a resurgence in recent years. Meanwhile, Colombian born, Israel based artist Golan Zocher has enjoyed similar success across his five-year career, landing releases via Nick Warren's The Soundgarden and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. Paired occasionally since 2020, Choopie and Golan have masterfully synthesized their talents and found that creative balance between progressive and organic house, taking their enchanting sound to Mango Alley, Sol Selectas and Choopie's own Agnosia Black imprint. Madloch's Sound Avenue has also been a landing spot for the duo, with 'Alush' highlighting the label's popular Correlation series in 2021, ultimately leading to 2022's three-track showcase 'Amirim'. Now, looking to build on the success of 'Amirim', Sound Avenue invites Kyotto, Inherent (AU)
and Figueras to re-imagine the EP for 2023's spring season.

Following his first appearance on Mango Alley's Augmented 009, Luis Damora comes back a brand new EP - ALLEY221 "Castex / Messio" with two stellar originals. "Castex" & "Messio" are different in th sound concept, but share the common vibe or a deep, dark and trippy progressive house. Thus we decided the pack should have diverse remixes too.
Forty Cats remixes "Castex" and while doing it in her usual groovy and deep manner, she also adds lots of atmosphere, detailing and even some bits and homages to the classic progressive and trance music.
Cary Crank & OBL are a duo known for their solid melodic techno production and their remix for "Messio" is no exception. They masterfully mix progressive melodies with techy beats and synths and create a vivid and captivating fusion of sounds!
