“Adolars phantastische Abenteuer” is a work of the finest irony interluded with Hungarian cartoon episodes that are of the Family Mézga series, that in some lands have achieved cult status. Adolar Mézga could be the big cartoon brother of Comfort Fit. So relaxed like Adolar emanates his inflatable spaceship from the violin case. Just the same, chilled beats bang complete with a warming power into orbit. This is not an amateur at work here, Comfort Fit is the label for all beat specialists on the borders of hip-hop, electronic, abstract, jazz, broken beat, Detroit techno. Already since 2001 they switched with their releases through various music styles. The right punch for the neck, yet with a constant view in ocular. On the earlier Musikkrause EP “Rausgeflogen” there was the vocal intonation of “Auf dieser Feier bin ich On Fire”. Even when here no one goes up in smoke, Comfort Fit has 2 tracks from 'On Fire'. The best part is he delivers two songs to ignite and extinguish. 

A1) Gib dem Zauber Zucker Driving and quirky, jazzy, deep techno that works without the yips. What starts as a knee and calf shaker turns into a hopping beast where in spite of stumbling beats doesn't fall on it's face. That's because the finger snaps, melodic fragments and rough bass edges keep the life in your bones. 

A2) Meta Kreta Whoever believes in measured floating sweep-dub horizontal techno, and is at the end of the sonics universe, can savour the rescue mission taking you out of your own personal stone age. In earlier times this is how from fuses, pyrite and straw was ignited. Presenting the soundtrack. 

B1) Schlesischer Koller In principle, what happens in A2 goes on here all the same except that ignition processors and sound cards are utilized. Does it not burn properly? Then stick the graphic card in there...here the lotus flies in the cellar. The people here are served bass & crass. 

B2) Staubschicht Caution! Neck breaker in the house! The key element is the typical Musikkrause swing in the dark primetime. There is no mercy, whoever's standing around flies directly to the floor, kicking up dust. In the layers it can be found so that again and again it is aroused.

Im Leben sind es doch oft die nicht so alltäglichen Dinge, die einen dann auf ganz wunderbare Weise begeistern, genauso verhält es sich auch mit unseren heutigen Podcastlern.

Was in Teenagertagen als ein klassisches Bandprojekt von Steven, Max & Patrick begann, führte dann einige Jahre später durch den Einfluss der elektronischen Musik zur Gründung des gemeinsamen Projektes T.M.A. Inspiriert und angetrieben von den verschiedenen Facetten der elektronischen Musik, erschaffen die Jungs einen eigenen und stets treibenden Sound, der eine Mischung aus Synths, organischen Drums, Gitarren und kraftvollen Bässen ist.

Aber nun genug der Worte, überzeugt euch doch einfach selbst und dabei wünschen wir euch wie immer maximalste Unterhaltung.

Eagle Sessions #117 - Jiggler (Guest Mix)

Our initially little project «Guesthouse Berlin», founded by Tim Munz and Tashi Luís, proves its value for more than two years by now. With our platform we travel around the globe. We managed to give thousands of guests an understanding of what Berlins nightlife looks like. The resonance we got was unbelievable! Next to our events we’d like to set our focus on the music, which enables these events! Thats why we decided to found our own record label. Not only to create a familiary platform for our musician friends but also to develop and pursue our own musical philosophy. From July on there will be releases every second month.

The start makes the meanwhile in the german capital city living Tashí Luis with the violinist Lorenz Masé, who has his roots deep in the turkish classical music. Together they wrote the song «Nomadie» and with their piece they’ve created a cultural plane between berlin techno clubs and turkish classical music with captivating bulgarian vocals. Well known berlin artist Lee Jokes has given this piece of music a rhythmical african touch with his remix. Our dear friend Vanita from zurich has given a sinister and driving counter part to it which perfectly fits the main time in the clubs.

Final release date is the 21th of July, pre-sale on Beatport will be available from the 7th of July on.

3 QUESTIONS to KELLERKIND:

Q: Let´s talk about your selection. Why did you choose these tracks for your mix?

A: To be honest it was really difficult for me to choose the tracks for this podcast as I am DJing for more than 20 years. In that time there are so many tracks that influenced me in a certain way and in this podcast you can just hear a few of them. But what I can say is that I like different styles of music, I think I am very versatile and in this podcast I mainly focused on the groovy side of me.

Q: You´re the “Basement kid” when translating your name into english. So your pleasure room is still downstairs and you never see any daylight? (laughing)

A: For sure my pleasure room will always be my basement where you can find my studio. But I would lie if I would say that I´ve never seen any daylight especially since I´m a father of my two amazing boys.

Q: Which Kellerkind projects are coming up next?

A: Next up I will release an EP on Hive Audio and then later this year another EP on Stil Vor Talent.

Started as a FAT sister label, with an eccentric bent and experimentally “too intellectual” with its heads out the window. Above all, a raw cut and clever yet boozy funk understanding from Metaboman the platform was, always MK, but a shared stylistic closeness through Robag Wruhme. In the present as an emancipated partner alongside FAT on the same level. Here comes about the stuff which is a bit club dweller-ish outsider (!): functional, experiment, melodic lone purloiner, slicked up snarky paired with a jazzy panorama and frivolic understanding of song hand in hand. As special tid-bits come to light next to Metaboman along with Krause Duo and Robag Wruhme and other sonic artists like Ian Simmonds, Schleck und Stecker, Portable, Someone Else on Musikkrause the shine of the speaker boxes.
   
With a wide awake view to the future, the right mélange of tradition, down-to-earth instincts and the adventurist appetite bend the parameters in the direction of…wrong-headed sympathetic humanity in a paradise of electronic music brought to tears, scrumptious, freak-out and fleshly depth. There is also the exception without the cemented delusions of grandeur…how does the German sitcom main character Stromberg put it: “If you allow the butter to be taken from the bread, then eventually you won’t even have the bread!”
