“THIS PARTY SUCKS” is the new hit collaboration of the electronic music trio “Synthibois” and the Disco-Funk band “Maltschik”. After a songwriting session in early 2020, in which members of Maltschik recorded a demo, consisting of a bass line and vocals, they knew that they had a hit on their hands. However, as the song did not fit well with other songs they were working on, they decided to put it on hold. Little did they know that they would run into Zurich-based techno trio “Synthibois” more than two years later: a match made in heaven. It very quickly became clear that they had to collaborate on a song and the unused idea from two years earlier was chosen. Blending their warm synth and syncopated guitar with Maltschik’s signature crisp vocals, Synthibois have truly created a danceable Mix, the likes of which has never before been seen on either groups discography.
