Checking in here to reveal a special linking of minds from Dublin to Leipzig. It's @transluciddream in the mix on DDR! Very pleased to be welcoming on Translucid to the show.

Hailing from Weimar and now based in Leipzig, Markus has proved a healthy appetite for all things dance, art, sound and creation in recent years. The mind behind Myriad label with a 7 track debut release titled 'In Memoriam'. This body of work spans styles in ambience, IDM, techno and breaks all to be found on the respective Myriad bandcamp and Soundcloud pages. To complement the musical productions, Markus has also launched a mix series with a stunning maiden voyage from none other than the tireless NYC marvel, DJ Voices. The music offers a small glimpse into the vast world of sound and collaboration that I'm sure Myriad Records will continue to forge.

In tandem to the production and release of music, Markus plays a key role at Mjut club in Leipzig. The club prides itself on freedom of expression, open mindedness and equality. Over the pandemic, the club has popped up online in many unique ways with streams from names like CCL, Marie Montexier, Kikelomo, and DJ Fart in the club. Mjut has also collaborated with United we stream to showcase the residents with Translucid stepping up to the booth for a stellar showing of deep dives and cryptic blends. These streams can be found on Mjut's soundcloud to listen and watch back.

For tonight's feature, Markus brings new music stretching minds in inquisitive IDM, ambience, jolting breaks and techno. This includes much unreleased music from friends and future productions to be shared on Myriad records.
