The creation of multi-instrumentalist/producer Yen Nguyen, Mechanical Pterodactyl build Dreampop compositions that place lyrical melodies over a richly woven blend of acoustic, electric and electronic instruments.

Having worked across genres from jazz and hip hop to electronica and rock, Yen brings eclectic sounds and production techniques together to create atmospheric and lush pieces.

Mustered Courage bridge the gap between traditional bluegrass and modern roots music with a style that appeals to both traditionalists and newcomers alike.  Music Australia Guide describes them as “the link between Bill Monroe and Mumford & Sons.”  The Melbourne based quartet has quickly risen to the top of Australia’s folk and roots scene on the strength of their energetic live shows and albums that have won them a string of glowing reviews, national radio support and two nominations at the 2014 CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia. 

These down-home pickers are performing several festival and club dates this summer throughout the U.S., culminating in performances at the IBMA Bluegrass Ramble and the IBMA’s Wide Open Bluegrass Festival in Raleigh, NC.
