Fangen Spielen ist ein bisschen Angst überwinden, ein bisschen Schritte wagen, ein bisschen weiterdenken, wenn alles eigentlich zu viel ist. Fangen Spielen ist an ein Morgen glauben, wenn man heute nicht mehr kann und loslaufen, wenn man vollkommen fest steckt. Das hört sich sehnsuchtsvoll, emo, rotzig und kämpferisch zugleich an. Kein typisches „Halt den Kopf hoch“ Lied, sondern ein Aufruf zur Initiative und vielleicht ein kleiner Mutmacher.

Schulhof-Mobbing ist genauso out wie Rap ohne Selbstironie. Wer das nicht glaubt, hat offenbar noch nicht auf Play gedrückt und den Musikunterricht à la Musterschüler besucht. Begonnen hatte es bei einer Session in Berlin-Neukölln. Im Sommer 2011 treffen hier BToung und KisteOne von Stadtgespräch auf Graf Fidi und Flex. Wer nun auf einen Hip-Hop-Western mit dicker Hose, fiesen Battle-Raps und üblem Gruppen-Fight hofft, liegt falsch. Vielmehr finden die vier Musiker sich auf
 Anhieb sympathisch, so dass einer gemeinsamen Zusammenarbeit in Sachen Rap-Song nichts im Wege steht.

 Bei regelmäßigen Seancen filtern sie Beats und zurren das Konzept fest – aber nicht streng nach Hausaufgabenheft, sondern mit viel Spaß an der Zusammenarbeit und überschäumender Kreativität. Es dauert nicht lange, bis ihre Single „Drück auf Play“ entsteht: ein Gruß an alle Menschen, die sie auf ihrem jeweils sehr individuellen Wegen begleitet hatten.

 Der Track kommt gut an und nach ein paar gemeinsamen Auftritten ist den vier Jungs klar: Ein Album muss her. Bossy Beats, der bereits das Arrangement für „Drück auf Play“ abgemischt hatte, beginnt mit der Produktion des Grundstocks. KisteOne, Graf Fidi, Flex und BToung nehmen weitere Tracks auf. Als es zur Single „Nachsitzen“ kommt, regelt sich die offene Frage nach dem Namen fast wie von selbst: Die Musterschüler feiern Geburtstag. Mit viel Freude an der Musik, arbeiten sie weiterhin regelmäßig an ihrem Album, wobei vieles im gemeinsamen Gedankenaustausch entsteht – ein Team, bei dem die Zusammenarbeit funktioniert. Auch hier sucht der Kritiker verzweifelt nach dem Klischee egomanischer Rap-Kultur. Denn den vier Jungs geht es nicht um die dicke Kohle, sondern darum, den Pausenhof unsicher zu machen, der Lehrerin ein Ständchen zu singen und ihr Publikum zu begeistern. Wir sagen: eins plus mit Sternchen.
