Big lad @joedelon had some really lovely things to say about my set so I’ll leave you with that - “Distinctive tunes full of feeling and playfulness, mixed together craftily and building steadily into a party mood  – a perfect warm-up in other words. I also really appreciate the variety: flourishes of broken beat, chicago house, and obvs some massive UK garage there in amongst the rolling Spaced-style house”

Berlin-based DJ duo and mobile record shop The Ghost launch their new imprint Ghost Recs.

Long-time friend and associate DJ Pipe offers up four smoking-hot dance tracks for GRECS 001. Each cut with its own housey and unique flava, it’s a record to open your mind and move your hips. The “Clubber’s Paradise” EP is an exciting debut release from a producer who is no doubt “one to watch” in the future.

Strap yourselves in guys, we’ve got a real special one today. 

You may know Back Lighting as a member of Kepler 129 - the Paris and Lille based crew at the forefront of the new French movement, renowned for hosting parties, podcasts and more recently, launching their new label VISOLUX.

Hugo is the man behind the now infamous Back Lighting YouTube channel, and this can clearly be heard through his approach to the Mustard Mix. From an inspired perspective, he’s curated a set that blends old music with classics, oddities, cd albums and even wrong speeded records, giving us an insight into the sounds that get him going.

The Renaissance Mix is a nod not only to the new wave of French artists, but to the nostalgic sounds of the past Back Lighting so elegantly revives with this mix.

This one really has it all - get stuck in and have a cracking weekend!

MMS #3: Back Lighting: The Renaissance Mix

Deep In Dis Intl. proudly presents the 9th installment of the "Deep In Dis Mixes' series with special upcoming and guest deejay CATALINA, who caught our attention with her unique sets delivering different genres and styles with a great track selection.
Hailing from Romania, Catalina's musical style is as broad as her background. Her musical interested were shaped by her years spent in the clubs of London, listening to a variety of UK-inspired genres. She made headway by playing renowned clubs such as XOYO, Corsica Studios and Printworks, and featuring on radio shows like Balamii and the formerly known 199radio. Since moving back to her hometown of Brussels, Catalina has made mixes for radioshows such as Kiosk Radio and the Word, as well as collectives like Klub Dramatik. 
We are thrilled to have Catalina joining us for one hour and thirteen minutes of pure bliss.
