Deep Underground Records has been created to push young artists. We give them a chance to get their tunes out of the bedroom-studios and into the ears of the musiclovers. Our mission: Bring the underground sound out of the dark and show the scene that there are also great musicians living in small towns. Our sound finds itself somewhere in between Deephouse, Techhouse and Minimal. The two ambassadors Adrian Amacher and Oliver Schmocker, both musiclovers, live for that special moment where the night has no end. Motivated by friends they realised: our label has a future.

Michael Jutzeler alias ’’Jutzi’’ ist 1988 in Thun geboren. 
Schon in jungen Jahren spürte er die Musik. Er begann als 8 Jähriger Schlagzeug zu spielen. Dies entwickelte sich weiter, bis er mit 16 Jahren eine „Rock-Band“ gründete mit 2 seiner ehemaligen Schulkollegen. Sie rockten zusammen das frühere „Selve-Gärtli“ unter dem Namen „The Fools“. 

Schon bald spürte ’’Jutzi’’ den drang zur elektronischer Musik. Er ging vor allem an Techno Partys, wo auch immer Dj Don Tetris auflegte folgte ihm ’’Jutzi’’. Zusammen feierten sie die Nächte am Wochenende durch. Sehr bald wollte ’’Jutzi’’ selber mixen. Im April 2010 entschlossen sich die zwei DJ’s, Don Tetris & Jutzi ein Label zu gründen. Es entstand „subsTANZ“. Unter diesem Label veranstalteten die beiden schon so manche Party in der Region Bern. 

Anfangs Jahr 2013 startete Jutzi ein weiteres Projekt mit seinem Kollegen Dimitri, auch bekannt als Bakerman, namens "Hiss & Growl".

Das erste Release ist am 18. April 2014 auf dem berliner Label code2 Records.

Growing up surrounded by music, Nicola Koch soon started making his own sounds by playing violin and singing in a classical choir. 17 years old he started experimenting with vinyl and turntables and a big love for hip-hop begun. Without loosing that reference, techno and house music came into play and soon Nicola started growing as a DJ. 

Spending time in the studio hours for hours, Nicola started to develop his own kind of minimalistic groovy style of house, which he represents in all of his mixes and productions. Music, stripped down to the essentials. 

Finally at the end of 2013 the first release was set on the Bernese Label Sirion Rec. Shortly after Nicola released more of his tunes on Labels such as Baile Musik, Tip Tap Records, Minimal Kids and Konzentrisch Music. 

At the moment Nicola Koch is in progress of arranging his live set, which can be expected by the end of summer 2015. 

Nicola Koch wuchs in einer musikalischen Familie auf. Mit Einflüssen von Pink Floyd und den Beatles war die musische Ader von Kind auf geprägt. Mit zwölf Jahren Geigenspiel und acht Jahren Chorgesang schulte Nicola Koch in der klassischen Musik sein gehör.Mit 18 Jahren begann die Liebe für Vinyl zu wachsen und das Ersparte musste für Plattenspieler und Mixer herhalten. Mit ersten Gehversuchen im Hip-Hop, wuchs bald eine Passion für elektronische Musik. Unterdessen hat Nicola Koch in der Berner Clubszene festen Fuss gefasst und ist daraus kaum mehr wegzudenken.  
In naher Zukunft sind einige Produktionen auf Labels wie Sirion, Tip Tap Records und Minimal Kids geplant. Musik ganz im Zeichen des Grooves.

Ever since I was 4, music's been my world. From jamming on drums and guitar to diving headfirst into techno and house in 2012, crafting beats became my passion. My journey's taken me through Progressive House, Indie Dance, and Downtempo, each genre letting me paint my musical story.
