After more than a hundred concerts in 2 years and exactly one year after the release of their debut album 'Atoll,' the TUKAN quartet announces the reissue of the album on December 8th. This reissue is primarily motivated by the desire to celebrate the exceptional year that followed the album's release, with numerous dates such as Eurosonic, Les Vieilles Charrues, Festival d'été de Québec, Les Nuits Secrètes, and Dour Festival. Sharing TUKAN's music live is the essence of the project. 

Deeply rooted in electronic music, the realization of their desire to bring their music to the dancefloors came naturally as they started playing in clubs at later hours. This led to the natural desire to seek remixers to rework their music. Releasing these remixes as an extension of the album rather than a separate project was, therefore, obvious. 

The remix lineup includes an eclectic and rich mix of Belgian and international artists, intentionally representing the band's broad influences. Remixes by Clap! Clap!, DC Salas, Jana Rush, Lauer, Planet Opal & Transistorcake will be featured.

The Queer Northern-Ireland born Cormac is back from another busy year as a label honcho and curator with the second Polari compilation No Tears In The Backroom Vol. 2 scheduled for release 31st of January 2024.

The compilation is filled with synth heavy swings, acid basslines, steamy vocals and lots of fun, making NTITB Vol. 2 the perfect entrance release into the new year.

Cormac says; No Tears In The Backroom Vol. 2 is a unique family with offerings from Polari hitmakers such as Jordan Nocturne, ROTCIV, & Louis de Tomaso as well as introducing new talent to the roster including DJ City, Nimmo, Shay Shaz, Hifi Sean, Joshua James + Xols.

I curate the compilation much as I do a DJ set, so there is a voyage of sorts in listening to the compilation as a whole. I encourage the listener to listen as you would an album, although they of course work solo as well.

A 10-track long journey forms a unique force of anthemic sounds, tapping into nostalgia but never pulling away from today's references. No Tears In The Backroom Vol. 2 serves as a dance-heavy pursuit aiming to not hold back.

The label profits from the new compilation are going to charity. Polari has previously raised money for All Out.

Doctors Without Borders is a politically neutral Non-Governmental Organisation whose main objective is to treat people in regions of the world where they are most needed. They are currently most active in Gaza and have a further 70 projects active in the world.

KIL
Taking his nickname from his birth place, the city of Quilmes, Argentina, Kil is a software engineer by day and an electronic musician by night. With influences from ambient, electro, techno and from national rock bands,  he performs and produces music infused with mental but also highly explosive energy. Since 2020 he has been part of the music project Forello, a live electronic music trio based on improvisation with analog gear, counting with presentations in MUTEK, Under Club, Crobar, Lollapalooza and more.

'Revving' is Desinformant’s first full length EP release on Rotterdam (via London) label Feed The Void. It sees a merging of Braga’s Electro, Bass and Ghettotech influences. After an emotional climbing break, I was climbing again in my home mountains. Since I had just been working on this soundtrack, the music was in my head while I was climbing. And the climbing was also a flow experience for me again. That's why it's called the soundtrack.

Nach einer emotionaler Kletterpause, war ich wieder in meinem Heimatgebirge klettern. Da ich gerade aktuell an diesem Soundtrack gearbeitet habe, ist während dem klettern die Musik in meinem Kopf.
