Tecwaa joins Inside Out Records with three cuts on his new EP entitled Future Sonic Luminaries. The Hoga Nord / Futureboogie producer showcases his maturing craft with the downtempo organic Dr. Dukes, the acid laden breaks in Pacific bends, and bassline led Enter Realm 7.

Head hazy, eyes blurred; even the sliver of light creeping through the curtain feels invasive, total darkness is needed. Memories? What memories? Any recollection of the evening before had been lost in a smog of shame and regret, at least for now. The fragments would slowly become clearer as Sunday unravelled, they'd unveil themselves whether invited to or not; a story being pieced back together chapter by chapter, though some parts would be better left to the imagination...

French artist Cuften has been flying the flag for a new generation of rave producers in the country over the last five years. Connecting the dots between IDM, hardcore, techno and electro, his analog sound pays homage to the 90s heyday, when these sounds reigned supreme, whilst keeping his eyes firmly on the future. With EPs for Tripalium, Minimum Syndicat and rave veteran Marc Acardipane's Planet Phuture under his belt, he now makes his mark on Astropolis Records with Animal Suicide, a five-track release packed with his trademark blend of future-facing old school techno, that comes backed by remixes from Legowelt and Cate Hortl.

Breaking through in 2018 as part of Electro/Italo Duo Oktober Liber, whose work has been described best as 'uniting the nocturnal peoples with the goth world in a deluge of hybrid EBM, cold wave on steroids and liberated experimental" Cate Hortl has been making serious waves on her own. With 2 exceptional EP's that blend that dark, cold wave aestetic of the 80's with modern Electro, she's truly at the fore front of her genre.

Author of the soundtrack of the documentary "Les Délivrés" by Thomas Grandremy, the reference of electronic music Maxime Dangles extends his composition work with this album. The alienation, stress, struggle and hope of the documentary's protagonists were his sources of inspiration. The soundtracks of the journey of these bicycle delivery men have been transformed into tracks to carry the struggle of Damien, Clément and Yoro further and continue to denounce the excesses of capitalism. A work that poetically extends the poignant and necessary work of the director, with an impeccable and immersive sound design, enamelled with dialogues from the documentary.
The result is nine tracks between ambient, IDM and electronica, exploring the story from all angles and feelings; from union demands and the struggle with "Affrontement", an incisive track inviting reflection to raw and metallic sounds or "Révolte", on the borders of destructured club music and IDM; from hope to dreams with the contemplative and deep "Velibre", “Matin Bleu” and "Liberate" or the melodious "Vitesse"; anguish and disillusionment with "Operate", the melancholic "Matin Rose" or the experimental and immersive "Mauvais Rêve", punctuated with the voices of the documentary.
A militant sound narrative of great finesse, affirming the richness of Maxime Dangles' production work and his ability to draw singular landscapes from which strong emotions emerge, following in the footsteps of Hans Zimmer, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' original soundtracks, while exploring the most experimental side of club music.
'Les Délivrés' LP will be available on vinyl and digital February, 17th on Lifeguards - a new sub-label of Astropolis Records, and Maxime Dangles will premiere his new live show at Astropolis l'Hiver February, 11th alongside Kittin & The Hacker, SPFDJ, Volition Immanent, Infravision or Zohar. Profits will be donated to French association Utopia 56: The vinyl will be distributed by Bigwax and all profits will be donated to Utopia 56, a humanitarian association that helps exiled people and anyone in distress in France. Since 2015, the association has been present in Calais to provide emergency material aid and denounce human rights violations and police violence, and through numerous actions throughout France. The association provides emergency aid on the ground for vulnerable people, particularly unaccompanied minors, through outreach activities, distribution of food and shelter. Maxime Dangles entered the electronic music scene 15 years ago, with a first release on Kompakt. Throughout his career, he has made his mark on the Bedrock, Skryptöm and Herzblut labels and remixes big names of the electronic scene such as Moby, Green Velvet, Simian Mobile Disco ou Kittin & The Hacker. The 2010s mark a turning point in his career.

Maxime Dangles entered the electronic music scene 15 years ago on the Kompakt label, collecting prestigious remixes (Moby, Green Velvet, Simian Mobile Disco, Kittin & The Hacker...). Reference of the international electronic scene, he’s renowned for his immersive and singular sound design that he shapes with his modular synths. But for the last 4 years, Maxime Dangles has slowed down his club dates to devote himself to this type of creation, to the spatialization of sound, in places such as the SAT in Montreal and to the SONARS arts and sciences project alongside researchers from the CNRS, who took him on board at the heart of their research on the islands of Saint-Pierre and Micquelon.

Operating from sundered soils - Eftersom is a triangle formed between Ravage Sentimental, close collaborator Jérôme Darmois and Chris Vela aka Moderne Romance. The term 'Eftersom' is used as a nod to their cross-border bond; a bond galvanized by a simple love of music, unwavering creative drive and a fair collection of imperfect studio gear.

With their LP LIE lined up for the later half of 2023 - here the trio present Tourne Tourne; a precursor to the project which comes coloured with remixes from Tel-Aviv-based Niv Ast, Mufti, Radial Gaze and Ravage Sentimental herself.

The original kick things off with a purposeful March. Bold, discordant shards are set above a burning guitar riff and a sultry vocal line which build up a bright, effective Indie recording. Niv Ast then sharpens the energy and rolls it up into an electro-tinged club track. Mexico's Mufti then suffuses the single with some 80s synthesis before Radical Gaze offers up 2 unique takes. Their 'Pop' remix lays pellucid twinkles over tight, sharp rhythms while their Indie remix then set climbing tones over steady and persistent drums across a forceful club tool.

Ravage Sentimental then makes use of the raw, organic elements while allowing her vocals to shine before the warped, hallucinogenic tones of 'Precious' brings things to a close. Thick synthesis, brash drum work and more ghostly vocals evince the sonic symbiosis of the trio while offering an exciting insight into what’s to come.

Undo's Factor City imprint celebrates 20 years on the dance floor with a compilation featuring 20 of the best songs from it’s catalogue. Twenty selected weapons from one of Spain's most-loved labels.

in the fall of 2003 Gabriel (Undo) and Victor (Vicknoise) pressed up some of his own music on a low-profile label inspired by some of the many small d.i.y labels that were on the forefront of the developments of electronic dance music. During these years the label has become a refuge as much as an open door vehicle driven by a saving Do It Yourself ethic and an unquenchable thirst for discovery. A low-key approach based, one based around friends and community, remains at the heart of Undo’s work with Factor City.

In Undo’s words “Its been an amazing ride, all an adventure. We came across all music industrie plagues but we survived, and now we're here. In a year which will have 2 special anniversary compilations and a few hot new releases”

Traumerei is constructed around a sample of Systrophe's black Labrador dreaming beside her whilst she was exploring wavetable synthesis.
Having met at subSine | Academy of Electronic Music, Midland Street Echoes and Systrophe explored wavetable synthesis and field recordings of important places in their lives to create this stunning EP of conceptual electronic music.
The result is a beautiful mix of timeless melodies and intricate rhythms, framed by beats that make them work on the dancefloor as well as in headphones.
