After a Terminator-esque EP on Tripalium Corp and two apocalyptic concept albums on his own imprint, Bella Ursa, Letherique delves deeper into the many intricacies of his inner fortress for Soil Records.

'Enter My Lair' is an ode to cinematic aesthetics. Whether through slomo doom techno or raw EBM, it recounts tales of blood-drenched dungeons haunted by evil spirits, over-the-top police chases, and epic battles from the Viking and Roman eras.

Author of the soundtrack of the documentary "Les Délivrés" by Thomas Grandremy, the reference of electronic music Maxime Dangles extends his composition work with this album. The alienation, stress, struggle and hope of the documentary's protagonists were his sources of inspiration. The soundtracks of the journey of these bicycle delivery men have been transformed into tracks to carry the struggle of Damien, Clément and Yoro further and continue to denounce the excesses of capitalism. A work that poetically extends the poignant and necessary work of the director, with an impeccable and immersive sound design, enamelled with dialogues from the documentary.

The result is nine tracks between ambient, IDM and electronica, exploring the story from all angles and feelings; from union demands and the struggle with "Affrontement", an incisive track inviting reflection to raw and metallic sounds or "Révolte", on the borders of destructured club music and IDM; from hope to dreams with the contemplative and deep "Velibre", “Matin Bleu” and "Liberate" or the melodious "Vitesse"; anguish and disillusionment with "Operate", the melancholic "Matin Rose" or the experimental and immersive "Mauvais Rêve", punctuated with the voices of the documentary.

A militant sound narrative of great finesse, affirming the richness of Maxime Dangles' production work and his ability to draw singular landscapes from which strong emotions emerge, following in the footsteps of Hans Zimmer, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' original soundtracks, while exploring the most experimental side of club music.

'Les Délivrés' LP will be available on vinyl and digital February, 17th on Lifeguards - a new sub-label of Astropolis Records, and Maxime Dangles will premiere his new live show at Astropolis l'Hiver February, 11th alongside Kittin & The Hacker, SPFDJ, Volition Immanent, Infravision or Zohar.

Maxime Dangles entered the electronic music scene 15 years ago on the Kompakt label, collecting prestigious remixes (Moby, Green Velvet, Simian Mobile Disco, Kittin & The Hacker...). Reference of the international electronic scene, he’s renowned for his immersive and singular sound design that he shapes with his modular synths. But for the last 4 years, Maxime Dangles has slowed down his club dates to devote himself to this type of creation, to the spatialization of sound, in places such as the SAT in Montreal and to the SONARS arts and sciences project alongside researchers from the CNRS, who took him on board at the heart of their research on the islands of Saint-Pierre and Micquelon.

Although each one of the music magicians that helped HISS making through the day are equally important, this VA, Is also an attempt of a tribute to Alejandro Vélez, with his first posthumously released song (TONGO)
Vélez, as he was also known, was one of Medellin’s pioneers in electronic music scene. With his projects like, Series Media, Vélez helped making noise across the country.
